Nice location. Mgmt is crappy. Whatever good feelings you have about the stay here, the experience dealing with apt mgmt while/after you move out might remove any good memories you might have.\r

When I lived in Glenbrook, it was the best place around to live! I can't tell anyone how it is now, (I lived there about 15 years ago) but from my 4 years of living there, I have nothing bad to say about it.

This apartment complex is very Deceptive. You get the impression that it is a very nice community to live in, but the apartment is a hassle. The managers are non-responsive and VERY RUDE!!!... The parking spaces are tiny and my car has gotten dinged on more than one occasion.

DO NOT LIVE HERE!

We've only been here for a few weeks, but we like it so far. The outside area is beautiful, the inside is updated and clean, and the neighbors are typically very quiet. No complaints so far.

I love this place. My experience as a California Native is that Glenbrook has been there for a long time
and has great service, great private apartments that seem more like what you get in condominium.
There is a huge city park ajoining the complex, a Junior College next door, a senior center on the corner,
and the Cupertino schools are top rated in California. I found that I got what I paid for, because Glenbrook
provided a good enviroment for my family.

Pros: Service and maintenance, free starbucks coffee shop, schools

Cons: sometimes hard to get an apartment

Glenbrook apartments are extremely old and run down. The grounds are well-kept which hide the decrepit interiors. Our master bath sink leaked gross sewage from the upstairs unit twice. Our interior dining area walls, carpet and ceiling became very wet every time it rained because of leaks in the upstairs balcony.

Paint from walls and cheaply painted countertops in the kitchen (yes, the countertops are painted white) flake off and make messes.

The walls are paper-thin and we heard upstairs and next door neighbors even when they spoke in low tones.

Senior management is nearly impossible to work with and rent prices are higher than most other newer apartment complexes in the surrouding area.

Check out the Santa Clara Superior Court records and see how many times ACCO Management (the parent company for Glenbrook) gets sued. It's not pretty. http://www.sccaseinfo.org/

Pros: landscaping

Cons: old plumbing, high rent, rude senior managemen
