I really like this place! I've only been to this place a handful of times when in Palm Desert as Im a seasonal resident but it has always been a really good experience.I have been to others in the valley and they seem a bit newer.

The food has always been veryy good, and the staff has always been nice and friendly at this location and others so I'd go back again! My first experience was with a womens group. They ordered all these wok dishes so I got to try several different kinds! That was really nice!

I'm NOT big on sweets but it's all about the MUD PIE! Everyone knows that! I only need a bite or two and I am over it! It's very sweet for me! But if you have a mouthful of sweet teeth this is your dessert!

I have also had lunch here and it was good as well! The service was quick and efficient!

There is always plenty of parking but the weekends it seems it can get crazy in the parking lot! Once I thought I should have left my car at home and walked I had to park so far!

Overall I really like this place and the menu has a little bit of everything. You don't just have to go with the same thing every visit! This location does happy hour all night!

This place is great! I live close to Palm Desert Mall and am fortunate enough to go there every Monday and Friday. I am not much of a beer drinker, but I have friends that are and love to frequent this establishment. The happy hour

Elephant Bar has very flavorful and unique dishes. I think they call is Pan Asian, because it does have an Asian flair, but more Americanized. It is very loud and crowded so be prepared to wait, or have a drink at the bar. The prices are great for the quality and quantity of food.

I know that folks love the Elephant Bar...and it is really a fun place. But the food is bland and slightly over-priced. Also, it can be really noisy.
I rate the Elephant Bar as I do TGIF. It is a place to go when no one has the guts to find a good local restaurant.
You won't hate this place...you might even like it. But please go without me!

We eat there often and always leave full and happy ! Lots of different food and tropical driinks ! And we went with our family of 10 and got a complementary Cream Brulee . The service is great, and the decorating is a trip LOL! You will be looking around for sure!! But, like the other reviewer said, get there early !

PROS: Everything
CONS: crowded at night.
