BEST VET  5 Star Rating - World class

I have been going to this same establishment for the last 20 years and absolutely think this the best vet i have ever come across. I have tried others and still none can compare. TheY are attentive and listen to what you have to say. Very kind and caring and willing to take the necessary steps to insure your pet (loved one) is properly treated.
I would recommend this place to everyone and anybody.

Good care, clean environment, but terrible service at the front desk  3 Star Rating - Satisfactory

This is a good place to take you pet. The doctors truly seem to care about the animals they treat and the facility is clean; however, the girls at the front desk are surly and rude. Almost enough to make me not go back!

Lilian Mercado Animal Rescuer  4 Star Rating - Very good

As an animal rescuer throughout the years, I have had many heartbraking situations. I have come to Dr. Vasquez (at N. Figueroa Animal Hospital) many times in tears, because of some sad cat/dog rescue situation. Dr. Vasquez has always helped me. They are very kind, and always are willing to help in any way. The fee they charge is just perfect for someone like me who has to spend out of pocket money for so many animals that are abandoned, left behind, lost etc. Thumbs up for this Hospital!!!

First time to any vet, read reviews...Made a good choice  5 Star Rating - World class

I am a new pet owner, and I brought my cat into North Figueroa Animal hospital today after reading all the reviews. It seems that every vet has mixed reviews but this vet had the highest overall reviews and also was reportedly on the cheaper side. I called around for the price of an examination and blood work on my cat (the cat was found stray with tags). This was by far the cheapest I found at 15 for the examination and 100 for the blood work. I was actually charged even less.

I foudn Dr. Vasquez to be friendly but frank and concise. He only saw me for about 5 minutes but thats all it took and he answered all my questions. One member of his staff, perhaps his assistant? was realyl helpful to me as well.

I went in about 45 minutes early and I was one of the first few people inline, I waited for probably 10 minutes to see the vet so i highly recommend going early. Goodluck

This is the place to go for good vets.  5 Star Rating - World class

I have an elderly pug that I recently brought to two other hospitals before I discovered this place. The other vets couldn't diagnose what was wrong with her. I spent so much money at those places and they still couldn't give me a straight answer what was causing my pug to be so sick. After reading their reviews (some bad but MOSTLY GOOD), I decided to get another opinion at this hospital. When I called (phone always busy), they informed me that they do not take appointments. So, I decided to come in early Saturday morning and was surprised to see such a long line even before they open (GOOD SIGN). I was very pleased to see how clean this facility is. I was 6 in line and waited about 25 mintues before seeing the Dr. With the examination, he was quick but complete (they are straight to the point so this is not the place for you if you want to chit chat all day long). After the exam, my pug was diagnosed with an infected uterus. FINALLY, someone knew what was wrong with my pet. The Dr. answered my questions and informed me of the risks because her age. She stayed overnight for a complicated spay, iv medication, hospitalization, and sent home with further meds. When I picked her up, again this place was so packed with clients (ANOTHER GOOD SIGN). When I finally got my pug, she was doing very well (YET ANOTHER GOOD SIGN). I had questions and was able to meet the other DR. I asked this Dr. is it always this busy and he said he wish it wasn't so he would be able to talk and get to know his clients better (I still can't believe how crowded and popular this hospital is). Two weeks after the surgery, my spoiled pug is back to her normal self. I am very comfortable with this hospital and would recommend this business.

This place doesn't even deserve 1 star...  1 Star Rating - Unsatisfactory

But unfortunately, I can't give them zero stars.

Since my Shar-Peis' usual vet wasn't in town when they needed their skin scraping, I was looking for a good place to take them. I heard so many good reviews about this place that I thought they would be good to my dogs but I was wrong.

First of all, I had to pay $145 for check ups on both dogs and a skin scraping for one. Later that day, my dog's skin got infected by the scraping because they scraped her skin too much. She began scratching her skin a lot and it even started bleeding. Now she has bald spots and scars on her body. I called the vet the next day to ask them what exactly did they do to my dog and they blamed what happened to her on her breed. I know my dogs are sensitive to things but my dog didn't get infected because of her breed, she got infected because they scraped her skin too much. Then they said I could come in to pick up an ointment and that I should bring my dog for them to see her. When we got there, they didn't even take time to look at what happened, they glanced at her and said "Yeah. It's infected." They told me to go outside and next thing I know, I'm getting charged another $30. Why should I even pay for their mistakes? People talked about how inexpensive and great they are but it doesn't even seem like they really care about the pets or the owners. They rush you out of the vet as fast as they can just so that they can get another patient in. That's just plain greed. This is not the first time my puppies got skin scraping and money is not the issue. I love my puppies and it's sad that I brought them to get better and ended up with more problems. I'm glad for people who actually get what they need from this vet.As for me, I'm very disappointed and never going back.

10 Year Customer to return! They're not perfect but they care about pets!  4 Star Rating - Very good

I've been taking my two pound puppies to North Figueroa Animal Hospital for 10 years! Unfortunately North Figueroa Animal Hospital burnt down but has finally been rebuilt and is back open. I'm happy about that. One of my dogs was from the Downtown LA Animal Shelter and the other from Burbank Animal Shelter. I've been to many Vets. The Vet that neutered one of my dogs (located in Glendale), kept me waiting and tried to upsell me some items I didn't need. He was also very unfriendly. Previously I'd also gone to upscale Vets in Larchmont Village on Larchmont Blvd (Very expensive and they tried to upsell me services I didn't need) and Valley Village on Laurel Canyon (where you wait very long even though hardly anyone is waiting to be seen and the prices were awful plus they kept furry cats in a cage in the waiting room and I had allergies). All were very expensive and had an attitude until I met Dr. Vasquez Sr. and Dr. Vasquez Jr. True they don't take appointments and the facility isn't in Beverly Hills but it's clean, they care about animals and the prices are reasonable. If you're looking for free then don't get a dog. If you want the caddillac treatment go to Beverly Hills (and pay 5x as much). If being quickly moved through a busy office is a problem then go elsewhere. If you want fair rates and caring Doctors though they're not perfect and may even make a mistake occasionally, this is a great place for your pet. NFAH seem to specialize in Pit Bulls as well but they treat all types of dogs and cats. That works for me since one of my dogs is a Pit Bull.

Wow....I would recommend this place!!!  5 Star Rating - World class

It was my first time visiting this hospital after being referred by another "picky" cat owner. Wow!!! This place is so busy and they don't take appointment. To be this busy, they must be that good and it was worth the wait. I brought my cat in for a spay and her shots. After waiting, I met with the young doctor who examined my cat and determined that she was fit to be fixed. He gave me my options and gave me a very reasonable estimate. Due to the high volume of cases they see, the whole meeting with the vet can be quick. However, the vet answered all my questions and made me still feel very comfortable leaving my baby there. When I picked up my cat the next day, she was doing fine. The front desk was very friendly. The assistant who gave me my kitty also gave me instructions on how to care for my cat. It's two weeks after my cat had her surgery and she is acting as nothing of happened. I'm happy with the service that this hospital provides and I'm returning to have my friend's 4 cats treated there. Wow...I would recommend this place!!!

The Best!  5 Star Rating - World class

I've been taking my cats to another vet for the last 14 years, and felt reluctant to try another as their service has been excellent. But as my cats get on in age so do their vet bills. On average an ear cleaning a couple of shots and medication would normally run $200. Based on the positive ratings posted on this site I thought I'd give them a try. Here at the North Figueroa Animal Hospital the same service was $60! The same attention to detail, super friendly staff, and fast service at a substantial savings. What more can you ask for? I'll be bringing my cats to Dr. Vasquez from here on end, and recommending him to my friends. The Best!!

First Vet Visit...They May have Injured My Cat's Tail!  2 Star Rating - Wouldn't recommend

Just wanted to add my two-cents after reading everyone's posts. I took my new cat there yesterday, right when they opened so we were seen within 5 minutes. Staff were all very nice but I couldn't tell if the man that came into the exam room was Dr. Vasquez or someone else cuz he didn't introduce himself and I was sort of rushed out of there withinin a few seconds (he looked really young, like in his 20's). I ended up leaving my cat overnight for neutering and shots. Went to pick him up this morning, not crowded at all because of the rain. Again, staff was very nice but I never spoke to the doctor and felt rushed out of there again before I could ask any questions. At least the medicine came with post-op care instructions. Facility was pretty nice and clean and the prices for the shots were very reasonable.

FOLLOW-UP REVIEW: I think the Vet broke/injured my cat's tail! It's got a big bump in the middle and he winces when I try to touch it to check. Now I'm really worried about my baby.

not really sure yet,all vets charge too much and seem to pray on owners  3 Star Rating - Satisfactory

well what really sucks about this place is that they dont take appointments and you have to beet the rush to get a place in line..(830 am most likely to be first by 9am )god forbid you have a job and have to be somewhere or have a busy schedule..ha! i waited one day about two hours, somewhat cheap but not really sure that means its a good place been there a couple of times for simple things, going back for them to look at my dogs leg for x rays.. let you know how that goes

Careful... be aware  2 Star Rating - Wouldn't recommend

I took my dog into this practice for what was essentially an emergency surgery for an ear hematoma. Post-op, they wired the ear to the neck, causing my dog much distress (he almost ripped his ear off). I took him back after a wk. so they could remove the wiring (they originally wanted it in for 3 weeks). The ear was sutured from inside to out, and when I took him back to have them removed, the Dr. missed two stitches in the inner ear, which I had taken out by another vet since I would never, ever, return to NFAH.

they care about the pet owners too!  5 Star Rating - World class

in short-
PROS- attentive and informative doctor, helpful staff
CONS- may be busy if you go during the wrong part of the day

my boyfriend and i recently took a stray kitten we adopted to be spayed. we called beforehand because we had a lot of questions, and the receptionists were very patient and gave us all of the information they could.

we came in the next day. we had read the reviews about the wait times, so we came in first thing in the morning and waited less than 10 minutes before being seen.

dr. vasquez and his assistant were very gentle with our cat. they answered all of our questions and said specifically that it was important to make us and our pet as comfortable as possible throughout the whole process. even though it is a very routine procedure, the vet understood that it was not routine to us.

the dr. was very thorough and gave us information beyond what we were asking. he directed us to the animal shelter down the street to get a coupon for the spaying, and checked our records from her vaccinations and found a few that the last vet omitted.

we opted for pre-anesthetic blood work, which costs extra and takes one day because they out source it for accuracy. we were allowed to stay with our cat for while before leaving her there to be boarded. we came in the next morning for the lab results and they let us visit with her then as well. they spayed her that day, and kept her overnight.

we went home with 2 medications, 2 vaccinations, microchip, blood work, spaying, and 2 nights of boarding for about $200.

i highly recommend this vet! i would suggest to anyone bringing in your pet:
1-go early in the morning to avoid waiting
2-do whatever research you can on their condition/symptoms/procedure. if you know what questions to ask, you will get the most information and quality out of your visit.

Disappointed  3 Star Rating - Satisfactory

After reading these reviews I decided to give this hospital a try. I took my 10 year old cat in with an abcess behind the ear. The waiting area was clean, I understand it had recently been opened after a fire and the staff asked me to fill in a new patient form. Everything was fine up to this point. When the Dr. entered the exam room, he immediately said "abcess. I expected him to then say what the plan of treatment would be, but he just again repeated "an abcess" a few times. Ok, now what? I asked if it would require my leaving her and he nodded yes. I said will it require surgery he again nodded yes. It was obvious he was in a hurry, which I understand, but that's no excuse for not giving her his full attention. He also added "ear mites". Although, not a requirement, some type of salutation would have been nice. I expect the same attention I would expect for myself to be given to my pet. Because it was a Saturday, my cat had to stay until Monday. When I picked her up, she was brought out to me by the assistant, in her pet carrier, I was not asked to go to an exam room, nor did anyone say when to bring her back. The Dr. did not see her, or me. When we arrived home and I took her out of her carrier, I was horrified to see they had put nine metal stitches/staples from the back of her head to her front throat area. I've had animals for 35 years and have never seen such a major incision for a relatively small abcess. She was so traumatized that when she got home she hid for weeks and was acting very nervous. When I took her back for the suture removal, the vet assistant removed them, the Dr. only popped his head for, at most, 3 seconds, long enough to see what he was doing, he didn't even enter the exam room, much less examine the wound. It's been a few months since and she is barely coming back to normal. I wonder what made her that way. I notice a lot of comments refer to the reasonable cost of this hospital, but that is not what matters most to caring pet owners. It's the attention and treatment the animal receives. I have not had any other visit with this hospital and will not be returning. I do not mean to offend anyone but I just want to share the experience I had.

Good Vet!  4 Star Rating - Very good

I recently moved back from the east coast and needed to find a new vet. I found the vet doc and staff to be very friendly and caring. The prices were more than reasonable, both for consultation, treatment, and medication - nothing like the proces back east. My only 'complaint' is the lack of an appointment system, but it seems that many vet clinics around LA are first-come, first-served.

I LOVE MY VET  5 Star Rating - World class

I am extremely pleased with all the service and treatment my animals, two dogs Judi and Bebi plus a great cat Peter have received at North Figueroa Animal hospital: reasonable prices, polite knowledgeable staff, sanitary office and treatment rooms. What more could I hope for?

Glad it's re-opened!!!  5 Star Rating - World class

Well Muriel next time go to York Animal Hospital they maybe you will appreciate North Figueroa a little bit! I've been going there for over 15 years with several of my dogs and found them informative and helpful! I'm very happy to finally see them re-open, when they were closed due to the fire I had the pleasure of going to York animal hospital talk about HIGH PRICES!! they charge you $33 just to see the doc and then more charges for everything else, and the doctors don't even show as much care. I think you still walked away with a bargain so stop the wining!

An Adoption Turned Ugly  2 Star Rating - Wouldn't recommend

I read the reviews here and felt as if I shouldn't write this, but information is knowledge, right?

I'm a foster parent for neonatal animals for Los Angeles shelters. I adopted a kitten for a friend and she was taken to North Figueroa hospital. All was fine - they spayed her on a Saturday, the same day she was taken in by the shelter, but I couldn't pick her up until that Monday.

When I picked her up, the receptionist said the doctor diagnosed her as having a slight cold, and that she would need medicine. It would cost $25, so I asked for prescription only.

The receptionist said the prescription will still be $15 and the medicine would still be $20 later - I explained that I can take the Rx to Target for generic medication at $5.

The doctor filled the Rx, I paid $15 on my debit card, and that was that.

It was very strange to me to be charged for a prescription, so when I told my friend what had happened, she called the Veterinary board and was told:

IT IS ILLEGAL TO CHARGE FOR PRESCRIPTIONS.

When my friend called the hospital and spoke to the vet, he was VERY rude to her and said they charge for this all the time. He would not refund the money and then HUNG UP ON HER.

We, of course, are reporting him to the Veterinary board and the LA shelters who choose to use him. We wrote him a demand letter to refund my money, which worked, since being threatened can persuade a business sometimes.

On a matter of principle, and the fact that he has probably done this to so many of his clients, (that believe he only cares about your pet and not your money) I will not take my animals here. The adopted kitten wasn't even brought back to this hospital for the removal of her stitches.

my heroes  5 Star Rating - World class

They are the only vets I trust, I've been to NUMOROUS vets before and since I found these vets, they became my personal heroes(thank you so much!!!) There are so many terrible vets out there and sadly I figured it out the hard way. North Fugueroa vets truly care about our pets and straight to the point - simply they are the best, my dogs(my only family) visit here sick and come out healthy. They are really affordable too if you can believe it(and they are the best vets I've ever been!!). I cant thank them enough. I wish there are more vets like them. I am anxious to have this hospital reopen, I cannot wait because I love my dogs and they need these vets. I am shocked to read a negative review about them. They are really different than other vets. Thank Dr. Vasquez from the bottom of my heart!!!

Can't wait till they open back up!!!  5 Star Rating - World class

I'm surprised about the negative comments....especially the last one. Suprisingly, the Awful comment was just recently made. Unfortunatley, North Fig Animal Hospital had a FIRE and has been closed for over a year...that review was made a couple days ago...I'm positive they are talking about the wrong hospital. I have to defend Dr. Vasquez and his staff. I've been taking my pets to him for the past 12 years and seen how well he cares for my dogs and cats. The doctors are very knowledable, quick, and TO THE POINT!!!I do agree that this animal hospital can be VERY crowded and busy....to me that is a good sign of a good business and that they provide quality medicine. Since this animal hospital has temporarily closed, I did have to take my ill cat to another local hospital. iT just isn't the same at other animal hospitals. I didn't know how happy I was with North Fig Animal Hospital until I visited another hospital. I recently passed by their "temporarily closed" clinic and there is a sign saying under renovation. Their phone message says they will be opening up again in May.....THANK GOD!!! .Again, I'm thankful for having such a good place to bring my pets. I'll be first in line when they open back up!!!!

WONDERFUL  5 Star Rating - World class

I have read the negative revirews on this site. I do not understand them. I have been going to Dr. Vasquez for at least 25 years. He has seen me through 2 Golden Retrievers, 5 Scotties, 1 Westie, 4 Poodles, countless numbers of cats. He, as well as his son, have been professional, caring. They remember the animals and their prior histories. I travel now to go there, It is soooo worth it!

CONS: Nothing

Think twice if you have a serious problem  2 Star Rating - Wouldn't recommend

I will say, for shots and other minor procedures they are good and low priced BUT for serious issues I would think twice.

A) I found a kitten, took him in to get a check up. He was fine but I kept telling them I thought he is blind and he argued he isn't THOUGH he runs into things and I have since had 2 other vets agree he is indeed blind.

B) Deciding to give them a second chance, I brought in my other cat who was having some Liver problem. The doctor never once looked at me or really asked me any questions. They rushed her to the back saying they needed to keep her for tests. I should have said NO BUT thought I would wait to get test results then take her elsewhere for a second opinion. Sure enough she dies in the night and I have a gut feeling there was something odd about it but have no proof. I just know I have had very sick pets before, worse than she, and have had lots of procedures done, etc and sometimes they make it, other times they dont. TO TOP IT OFF...I call to say I am having her cremated and the people will pick her up. We go on our date to have "the service" and when we go to view her and say good bye she is bent into the oddest and most disgusting shape I have ever seen. You would think when you call to say you want your cat back they would lay her to rest in a position that is more acceptable. The cremation place said that she was in this position becasue the vet often keeps them in a sack so this was the look of her dropped dead into a sack...

It is just disrespectful...

In the meantime, I was billed one hundred dollars - not for what though as they have yet to send me an itemized receipt

Anyway, if you have a serious issue I would reccomend any place but this one.

PROS: not enough
CONS: too many

So sad  5 Star Rating - World class

I have been going to Dr Vasquez for 7 years. I went there to day because my dog has an ear infection and I knew that He would be taken care of. I was surprised to find a sign saying closed for renovations. I was forced to go to another vet and was so disappointed!! I hope the building will be fixed soon. Dr. Vasquez and his son have always been good to my dog even helping me find a dermatologist when they couldn't help my dog.

Closed due to fire  4 Star Rating - Very good

So sad. I've been taking my dogs to NFAH for probably seven years. I stopped over on 8/24 because my new puppy had reacted badly to some new food and was very saddened to learn that they had had a fire the night before which looked like it caused extensive damage, at least to the reception area. For basic care, this vet can't be beat. The prices are the best in the area and you don't get unnecessary procedures, meds, and charges. However, I haven't found that I can get a lot of information either. But I know of no other place where you can get in for a consultation for $10! I hope they're up and running again soon!

Murial is not looking at the big picture, don't listen to her.  5 Star Rating - World class

What Murial doesn't mention is that even though she did pay for a prescription, Dr. Vasquez is still the least expensive in the area. $15? Big wow. I have been there tons of times(5 dogs) and I have not once felt over charged or mistreated. Every time I have gone to York Animal Hospital or one in South Pas. I am not only mistreated, but I am grossly overcharged. Why don't you try the surrounding vets, Murial? And while you are at it, get a job as an investigative reporter so you can continue to give your biased opinion.

Great prices...nice people....but  3 Star Rating - Satisfactory

I went here based on the reviews I found on these pages. I was broke at the time. Yes, the prices are the lowest you can find on this side of town, but the service was not what I was hoping it would be. Yet, they are doing a great thing to make services for pets affordable. BUT...
I took my dog in because he had a seizure the day prior. The vet I saw did not ask me any questions past "Why are you here?" I was in and out within 5 min.
The front desk workers are very personable and helpful.
Not reccomended if you are very concerned for pet based on symptoms or if you have questions. Otherwise recommended.

ONE visit ...WON me over  5 Star Rating - World class

Couldn't get better than this.
Keep in mind that Dr. Vasquez and his son are vets..not interior decorators.

And don't be surprised if you are in and out quickly...that's because they are not wasting time trying to [B.S] talk you out of more money for tests etc...that aren't needed.

These men don't con you out of your money because they don't need to...they are GOOD and the constant stream of customers speaks for itself.

A lot of people have taken time to write a review. More than any other vets...that should say something right there.

I have been taking my cats to Dr. Vasquez since he opened 25 years ago. I am proud to say I was one of his first customers. He and his staff are so friendly, caring, and professional. Although Dr. V isn't available as much as he used to be, his son is just as great. I couldn't give a better recommendation.

Dr.Vasquez saved my dog's life!  5 Star Rating - World class

I started going to North Figueroa Animal Hospital 3 years ago when another vet told me to put my dog to sleep because she was too old to have general surgery to remove fatty tissue from her back. After a friend recommended me to Dr. Vasquez, I went. After running a couple of tests, he felt it was safe enough to go ahead and do the surgery. Everything went perfectly fine and she is still 100% healthy today. I can't put into words how great this hospital is!

My friends, family and all my neighbors take their pets to Dr. Vasquez and have for the past 25 years! The staff and doctors genuinely care and love animals. It shows by their excellent service and prices. There has never been a problem my pets have had that Dr. V hasn't been able to fix.

PROS: Service, prices, no frills, friendly staff
CONS: Small, very busy

My dog is better, but I wonder if they can handle tough cases  4 Star Rating - Very good

I brought my dog in who obviously had a "cold" and got a shot of steroids and some meds for coughs and antibiotics... but steroids? That's a little old-school. Sure, they are experienced and seem like a great place to go for "general" illnesses... but I wonder if they can handle or diagnose tougher cases. Everyone seems to like the cheap prices, but I worry that I'll get the "standard treatment" when it could be something else entirely but was not given close-enough of an examination or options for further testing. But, that said, they are the best vet I have tried in the area so far. Everyone else seems to suck.

PROS: Caring, fast and cheap...
CONS: Afraid the "no frills" extends to the care as well

Wow was this bad  2 Star Rating - Wouldn't recommend

Does matter how polite or inexpensive a doctor is-if he cannot afford a knowledgeable staff or have doctors available to answer questions it is useless. I would never bring my dog here again. When I came to pick him up, he was covered in feces and urine. Then they gave me antibiotics and couldn't explain what was wrong with him or tell me why he needed the medicine. Nor did they offer any advice on post-operative care. After putting him under anesthesia, all they could tell me was that maybe he was excessively sneezing due to "possible insect bite." The vet tech read that off of a card and told me if I had any more questions the doctor would be in on MONDAY--we picked him up today which was TUESDAY--so he wouldn't be available for 6 more days??? Spend the money for quality care-that's my tip for the day

PROS: cheap-kind but aloof staff
CONS: uninformative, lackluster almost negligent care

Caring, Friendly Vet at Great Prices  5 Star Rating - World class

Just took my dog to Dr. Vasquez after reviewing his Insider Pages reviews and I really liked him. He was very caring, friendly and thorough. I had lots of questions (my dog has a history of cancer) and he took the time to answer them all -- I didn't feel rushed or patronized. His techs were also really sweet and helped me locate a few suspicious spots on the dog I had wanted to show the doctor but couldn't find once I got there (doesn't that always happen?) His office staff was also really nice. And as a bonus, when I looked at the bill, it was half of what I used to pay in Santa Monica.

The only thing I found a little weird is that they don't take appointments; however, ultimately, this isn't really a problem, I picked a non-busy time (Tues-Thurs) and called to find out how long the wait was before I went over. I ended up waiting only 10 minutes. I suggest calling before going if you're going for a routine visit.

PROS: Good care at a reasonable price.
CONS: No appointments even for routine visits - check wait time before going

Great Vet!  5 Star Rating - World class

Reasonable prices with great service. The only draw-back is the waiting room. Very small and narrow. Hard to walk dogs through without contact with other dogs.

Dream Vet!  5 Star Rating - World class

I totally disagree with KD W.'s review. Dr. Vasquez and his staff have always taken very good care of our dogs and cat. In fact just this summer our cat had a serious problem and had to stay for close to a week but the bill was still under $300! I was stunned as anyone who knows vet costs can imagine. I never leave here feeling over charged. If you want a caring reasonable vet this is the place to go. I never go in there with a small pet issue and leave feeling ripped off.

PROS: Wonderful caring vet, reasonable prices
CONS: Narrow waiting room

Used to be great  2 Star Rating - Wouldn't recommend

We've taken our pets here for over 10 years and really loved the place, but lately the service has gone downhill. We're going to a new vet these days.

EXCELLENT  5 Star Rating - World class

We LOVE this hospital. Dr. Vasquez is kind, caring and a gentleman. I've gone in for consults and advise and left without being charged!!!!
Imagine, a vet who DOESN'T charge for EVERY little thing!
We can count on Dr. Vasquez to deliver great care for our pets in a non-pressure, caring environment.
One really gets the feeling that the Dr. and all of his staff really care about animals.... not the payments!

4 Star Rating - Very good

This is a bare bones vet but they will take care of your animal without emptying your wallet. My dogs have had some serious procedures like corneal surgery and it only cost me $150.00. Most places would charge 4 times that much. Dr Vasquez is a real professional, but the waiting room is cramped and hot and can be extremely busy. At these prices it is no surprise and is worth the discomfort.

Dr. Vasquez and his son TRULY care about your pet, not about how much money they can squeeze out of you! One visit and you'll know why I have been their client for 20 years. I wouldn't go to another vet even if they were free!

We wouldnt take our furry friends anywhere else. Very reasonably priced and great with us and our furry friends. I like that its a family owned business and not somewhere the doctors seem to be competing for your attention.
