Recently purchased a water heater and Kenmore Elite front loader from this store (Ridgecrest). They are helpful and provide the best price they can. I assume this is new management and I am recommending that my friends use this store. The water heater was slightly dented but works fine. The washer is superb. I installed both myself. Our residence is 'off the grid' and both appliances work well with our power and water......not being standard at times.

We ordered a Kenmore range, refrigerator/freezer, and dishwasher for our Mammoth condo. Instead of the range, two refrigerators were ordered by the Bishop store. We were verbally promised a free delivery and installation of the range with the pick up of our old stove by the store manager in Bishop. A Bishop store employee offered to change the refrigerator door handle position to make up for the inconvenience. Two Thursday dates passed, without the range being received by the Bishop store. Today the range was dropped off in Mammoth, and the manager of the Bishop store did not "remember " either of his verbal promises. The new range was not installed and the old one not picked up. Upon my phone call to the owner of both stores, Terri Bellino, I was shocked to be treated EXTREMELY RUDELY, challenged, and without any customer service offered, or an apology. This is not the customer service I would expect from Sears and will not make further purchases from the Bishop or the Ridgecrest stores. Would strongly advise... shop elsewhere...

I just had the misfortune of talking to Sears, Ridgecrest, Ca. and Sears, Bishop, Ca. store owner, Terri Bellino. This was in regards to our treadmill that was under protection agreement. Sears had approved a replacement, which we selected at Northridge, Ca. store, which has much larger selection. The other reason for us to shop at Northridge store was rudeness of local store manager Daniel Stover. I walked in to the Bishop store to get help with repair of the treadmill. I could not say one word before Mr. Stover would interrupt me and go on about how there is nobody in the area that repairs treadmills. After about half an hour of going back and forth, I left the store, feeling very violated and vowed never to do business with this store again only beacause this man is the manager. When I asked him who the owner of the store is and if I can speak with the owner, he told me, "yeah, if you want to got Mexico". Anyway, the replacement treadmill was to be delivered to us thru Ridgecrest and Bishop stores. Both of these stores are owned by Ms. Bellino. Northridge store had scheduled the delivery for 1/22/11. We went to Bishop store on Fri. 1/21/11, to confirm delivery. The store manager, Danile Stover was extremely rude and refused to deliver the treadmill to us, unless we paid a delivery fee of $200.00. He point blank told us,"You should have purchased the treadmill thru me." When we asked, if the delivery would be included and to that he answered, "NO, you would still have to pay me $50.00 in delivery fee." This just proves that his greediness has no limit. In the past, we have purchased quite a few appliances and mattresses, TVs where delivery was free. There was not a delivery fee to be paid for the treadmill as this was warranty replacement and we were reassured by the person authorizing the replacement that there would not be a delivery charge. We did not receive our treadmill as scheduled, however, somebody logged in to reflect that the delivery was completed. I called Sears delivery dept on Mon. and they put me on hold. After a long wait, a woman came on the line and just said "yeah". I was taken aback as this was not the same person who was helping me initially. I had to pry it out of this person as to who she was. She huffily told me that she was the store owner and that we will not receive our treadmill until we pay her the $200.00 that Nordick Track paid us as the delivery fee. This was another shock to me as no such funds had been received by us. I tried to get more info. on this but she would just blow me off. I tried to give her the sales check number so she could confirm that the delivery fee was paid by the warranty dept. but she was least interested in doing any research into the matter and resolve the delivery issue. Basically, she was holding our treadmill hostage until we paid her the $200.00 fee. She reluctantly agreed to call me back later, however, I never heard back from her so I called the store again. One person told me that she would be back in an hour or so. When I called back the third time, I was told that Ms. Bellino was gone for 2 weeks, to a Sears Seminar. I hope she picks up some customer service skills. The next day, I called the Ridgecrest store again and talked to Manager Shad. He was kind enough to reassure me that he will call the Bishop store and have the treadmill delivered to us. Within an hour, I did receive a call from the Bishop store to schedule next day delivery and finally, the nightmare ended on 1/26/11. Store owner Terri Bellino and her
Bishop store Manager Daniel Stover do not have any customer service skills and are just here to take advantage of customers. They are running Sears name into the ground with their rudeness and lack of concern. We have always shopped at local Sears for big ticket items such as appliances and TVs. but untill the owner and manager change takes place, they will not be getting our business. This one bad experience has ruined all the other pleasant transactions we have had with Sears. The only person that deserves the praise in this whole matter is Ridgecrest Store Manager, Shad as because of his intervention and wisdom, we did get the delivery of our treadmill. I hope he takes over the ownership of both stores.

Bought a dishwasher from them. It was a pleasant transaction. However, after two weeks I discovered that is was a defective unit (that leaked and ruined part of my flooring). The repair tech told me to call the local store to see if they could replace the unit. Overheard the owner Terry Bellino tell the technician that my request was "bulls#!t" because the "customer" picked up the unit and installed it himself (i.e., assuming/accusing that I broke the unit on installation). She said to the tech "fix the item, his request is bulls#!t!." Wow, I was just blown away by her tone and attitude. I immediately contacted the national service desk, and they told me Sears had a 90 day "no hassle, no questions asked return policy for refund or exchange." The local Sears store clearly violated this policy. My exchange was approved and claim for the damaged flooring submitted. Therefore, I will continue to shop at Sears, but not at the local dealership.

Bad management. Owner Terry Bellino was very rude. I bought a fridge, it never worked.Owner Terry Bellino refused to help schedule a repair or service on it. Hung up when I asked if I could exchange it. I'll never spend my money at Sears again.

This is not a full retail store Sears that you think of when you hear Sears. They only carry things such as appliances and tools. It is a small shop, but the customer service is great. They will help you find what you need, and will help you get the best price.
