Don't visit this place at 1100 That's when they "transition" from breakfast to lunch. Took over 40 min. to get food.Service was the worst ever and the food was not much better. I would never go back.

While at Apple Annie's I accidentally left my (expensive) camera. A couple hours later I realized this and called the restaurant. The employee said she had it. One day later I went to retrieve it and it was gone. One of the employees said that another employee probably took it. Apple Annie's owner refused to compensate me for my camera and refused to investigate the employee's theft.

While waiting in line to buy an apple pie from the bakery, when my wife placed the order, she stepped approximately 3 feet away into the doorway to tell me, and the person behind the counter started to belittle her and berate her for stepping out of line. My wife apologized, but the server would not let it go, instead she kept yelling at my wife, until another server stepped forward and apologized for her associates behavior. Then the rude lady started saying, "that's right the customer is always right", over and over again. It is quite apparent this person hates her job and the customers who make it possible for her to have a job. Management should free her up to pursue other job opportunities.

No apologies given from our waitress/owner after we waited 40 minutes for our food. Waiting with hungry kids is no fun. Owner said our order never was cooked and said it would be right up. Minutes later she told my husband it would be 2 minutes. Kids were starving, place stunk of bathroom cleaning products, flies at our indoor table, so we left. Owner did not even have the deceny to say sorry! Never going back.

I love Apple Annies. It's rustic, friendly, and the food is great. In addition to their burgers, they make a great breakfast omelet. There's a really nice, shaded patio out front where you can have brunch, and although it's crowded in apple season, you won't find a prettier spot year round.

Apple Annie's is under new ownership and has been for several months now. I've read the review from September 2006 and it can't be farther from the truth. The food is great and you won't go away from the table hungry. Their soup is my favorite and the apple pie and ice cream is almost a meal in itself. As far as the long lines are concerned, that's usually during the apple season, Sept - Nov. The long line are not due to the lack of service, the place is just packed full of people, which usually means THE FOOD IS GREAT.

Yes, there is the western theme, duh, where are we in the east? It's great to see some folks try to keep the American Western heritage alive. The place is always clean. I eat there often. There are only a couple of other restaurants that compare to Apple Annie's.

The prices are fair, especially considering how much food you get. They serve several courses and just keep it coming and if you can eat it all, you can get second helpings on the house.

By the way, the park has a live western shootout every weekend at 2:00 PM. The kids (and grownups) love it. It is family oriented, that is, no cussing, no drunks and no one actually dies. Every now and then the cowboys rob the restaurant late in the afternoon for entertainment.

I love the West which is why I moved here from the East. Hope to see you there sometime.

This restaurant is in a very family oriented location with a small zoo and craft bazaar. Everything has a cowboy theme, the waitress even wear holsters with pistols.

When visiting this fun tourist spot, skip the Apple Annie?s. Drive down the road to eat or have a hot dog from the stand down the path.

On Saturday (9/30/06) I tried to eat at this Apple Annie?s. 2pm I waited in line for 25 minutes to be seated. I assume it is worse during lunch and dinner hours. The interior is not clean. The back dinning room has an uneven brick floor. The chairs are cloth covered office chairs with roller on the legs and they are old and dusty. The table covers are sticky. The menus are sticky. The service is really bad. The table in front of me got the wrong order and they had to spend about three visits to get the order correct. I waited 20 minutes for a waitress to take a drink order. No one ever came. I had to leave. What really bothers me is that I made eye contact and keep raising my hand as waitresses went by. Every time I tried to get someone attention the waitress would quickly look away. When I got up to leave every staff person avoided me on the way out.

The prices are a little high, the dinning area is not clean and the service is very poor. Keep your hard earned money and eat somewhere else.

PROS:
CONS: Not Clean, Poor Service
