i went to tommy t's to get a surface barbell on my hip. i do a lot of workouts so i needed something that could not be yanked out easily or snagged on clothing. i picked out flat discs, and if i ever get bored with it i could always come back and choose one of the many gemstones. a girl has to have a little sparkle! this place was crazy clean and i always get my piercings here. my christina healed perfectly and i never have any problems here!

i am allergic to nickel so i needed a navel piece that would not give me any problems with irritation. the piercing apprentice heather was super nice and helpful with picking out a really pretty piece for me. it was a little expensive but it was totally worth it. looks AMAZING!

The piercers at Tommy T's are by far the best I've ever worked with. Professional at all times, knowledgable, and also very personable. I've had both my nipples as well as my clitoral hood pirced by them, and they healed perfectly. I felt very comfortable with everyone there. Thank you Tommy T's!

My little sisters got pierced at Zac Attac back in the day and when I was ready to get pierced I knew that Tommy had Tommy T's Body Piercing in Huntington Beach. The jewelry selection is amazing and the piercer's have several years of experience. I am going to go back and get some more piercings as soon as my new one heals...you'll never guess what I got pierced :p

First time getting my cartilge pierced and they did an excellent job. The used this freezing spray stuff if you ask for it that completely numbs your ear. It was almost pain free didn't hurt too much when they put the needle. No i just have to wait to see how much it will hurt on a regular basis. VEry Very VEry VEry clean. MAde my father really happy. :)

I live in Wisconsin and had my nose pierced at Tommy T's 5 years ago. I won't go anywhere else where I live because I was so pleased with the service I had at Tommy T's. Very clean and that makes a big difference. I came back out to Huntington Beach to visit family and went in to get some more jewelry. I was very happy with the results and the cleanliness. I always said if I need more jewelry I'm going back to Tommy's.

They are really professional. All the staff are really friendly. They make sure to answer all questions and that makes me feel really comfortable when I am getting pierced. The shop is really clean. I always recommend friends and family to get pierced there. Very happy!

i have been going to tommy t's since november of 2009 and have been very pleased. i have gotten all of my piercings at tommy's. tommy has a great attitude. the shop is very clean and organized. after getting pierced you can tell that he has a lot of skill and experience. tommy t's is the only place i will go for piercings.

i got my tongue pierced andi was super scared and nervous and thought i would pass out.if you are scared about the pain i suggest the numbing.it worked well.i liked how all the questions i asked were fully answered and i was confident it would go well after i got home.Ive gone here before for my belly button and it went just as well as last time.recommend and cheaper than other places :)

Got my nose pierced today. Best experience ever! Tommy was professional, friendly and helpful. The place is clean and he takes care to ensure you don't germ up the piercing area. A quick note based on some of the other posts here (the negative ones). Tommy is all business so if you're looking for him to be your best friend, maybe you should try getting a dog. If you're looking for someone who is going to get it right ... make an appointment.

I had been wanting a nose piercing for awhile and went to Tommy T's to check out the place, It's clean, they have a sanitized room, and a small sitting area, they are friendly and really explain the different metal's for your piercings. Yes I thought it was a bit pricey $65 but it's mostly because the type metal I chose. But it was well worth it, I felt no pain at all, I didn't even realize that it was finished because it was done so fast. My nose piercing is great and had no problems with it. If anything I will be going back for my next piercing, for whatever that may be. lol

my experiance here was alot better than i expected. i was totally confortable. compared to other shops i have been to, it was way more relaxed. i had time to collect my thoughts before i was pierced. everything was really clean. it was perfect!quick and really painless!Super IT Was Chill as F***!!!!!

I would have to say Tommy is perhaps the rudest son of a bi**** I've ever encountered. Not only does he not give you a choice in what you want because he"knows best" (bull crap) His store is so over priced and has no social skills what so ever.. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER...they say your suppose to trust a piercer.. do not trust him.. he can hype up his shop all he wants but its COMPLETELY OVER PRICED... i made the mistake of paying almost 50 for a Piece of Crap jewelry for my Monroe.. he has the nerve to tell me after i payed "if it doesn't work then just forget about it" meaning my piercing.. Screw him and his lack of manners.

The people who work there are very helpful. It was my first time getting pierced and my mom took me in. My mom and my aunt have gotten pierced there before. I wanted to get my vertical lip pierced for awhile. They are very clean compared to other shops I have seen. After I got pierced my aunt got dermal anchors done under her collarbones. They came out pretty amazing!

Tommy T's is a great place to get your piercings. I love it there and just went for the second time with my cousin. Its clean and the workers answer all the questions you have and are friendly. Its very professional and the jewelry is good quality. The atmosphere is comforting and its a relaxing place. I highly recommend getting your piercings there.

Tommy has done all of my piercings and they have all healed perfectly. He took his time to go over why the metal the jewelry is made of is important. I never knew that could affect the way my piercings healed. I recommend all of my friends to go to him. If you are considering getting pierced go to Tommy T's. You will no be dissappointed!

Please DO NOT even waste your time stepping foot into this store. Tommy has NO people skills what so ever. He was a complete jack ass & was extremely rude to every customer who walked in. I ended up walking out in the middle of my piercing because he did not what so ever make me feel at ease with what he was doing. For starters I don't think he knew what he was doing. The girl before me payed 6 extra dollars for numbing and he didn't do it and she came out in extreme pain. I asked him if he was going to numb me because i as well payed to have it done and he completely snapped. I've never been so offended by anybody. God only knows why the hell that store is still open. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THAT! He is more interested in getting the money than assuring you a sanitary piercing.

I had an amazing experience here! The staff is so friendly and helpful. All of my questions were answered. Tommy did a great job... didn't hurt at all! I loved the fact that the piercing room is completely sterile.

I always wanted to get my nose done and heard about Tommy T's from my son. I was SUPER scared thinking it would be painful. The experience was nothing like I had anticipated it was pain free! It looks great! and I would do it all over again in a heart beat!

Came in at 12:00 and was done by 1:00! Jewelry was top notch. I went for the top of the line gold! I was thrilled with the selection of choices that I could later come back for when I want a variety of colored jewels to choose from. The parlor was superbly clean, and I had expert care. I was told what the procedure was and told over and over that the procedure will be done with 100% care. The piercer took care of me while making sure he expertly prepared and pierced professionaly. I was very impressed. I felt no pressure to do anything I didn't want to do. The piercing was fast and accurately done!!!

Tommy T's is an amazing shop. Tommy is great to work with, and always takes the time to answer your question (regardless of how silly/stupid they may be) without making you feel rushed. I have never seen such a large selection of jewelry in one store! The piercing room is amazing, and made me feel like I was walking into a doctors office.

I would highly recommend Tommy T's to anyone who wants to get pierced. This shop is truly a step above the rest!

love the fact that the shop is always clean.. friends had it done in Vegas but I said if I ws having it done, I had to have my girl Lucy in CA do it! No other way. Service is always great from them. Always answers all questions and is nice on top of it.

After 47 years and one year of totally contemplating getting it done. I asked so many people where to get it pierced and everyone told me to go to Tommy T's. I had people tell me they got pierced at other shops and then went to Tommy to have it fixed. I was going up to total strangers and asking "where did you get your nose done" My husband was getting embarrased. He was convinced I would never do it. But I did and it's been 3 days and he hasn't even noticed!!! It looks so natural. I thought it would hurt and it didn't. All that worrying for nothing!

One of the main reasons is that it is dedicated to body piercing and I noticed their employees have to go through a 3 year training. I had my marilyn pierced at a tattoo parlor on the Newport Peninsula and they are basically a tattoo place and they really didn't have a selection of jewelry. Tommy T's is extremely clean and it is really nice. I went in to have my lip pierced and they have the nicest selection of jewelry. It's wall to wall. I have already recommended lots of my friends to go there.

Besides the overpriced jewelery, rude, unhelpful staff, and bad times all around? Nope. nothing more to say. They way overcharge, all the "training" the piercer has is from a one week period. Look at the dates of the certificates online. Keep your distance not fall into this tourist trap if you really want it done right, in any fashion of friendly or helpful workers. I don't usually take the time to write stuff like this, but, really, it is that bad . . .

Everything there is really clean. We had looked at other tattoo and body piercing parlors in Orange County and never got anything done anywhere else. Tommy T's is quality! They have so much selection and they are always quick about getting you pierced. They don't make you wait forever. We always get pierced with 18K gold jewelry and my mom always gets real diamonds. She even got me a real diamond for my nose piercing. I'm normally a little paranoid when it comes to getting pierced, but in the end I do just fine when I get pierced by Tommy. Thanks

Ive been going there since i was 16
my mom brought me
at 16 i got my top belly button pierced
at 17 i got the bottom one done
at 18 i got the two sides done
and today i got my nipples pierced, the piercer did an awesome job and made me feel totally comfortable. I LOVE TOMMY T'S!!!!

My first piercing from done at Tommy's was a rook piercing and it didn't hurt and it didn't swell after the piercing. Honestly I had absolutely no problems with it. My second piercing was a custom ear piercing and I'm excited about it since it's hard to find a piercing parlor that can do such a piercing.

Originally I gave Tommy T's 5 starts but I'm going to have to dock off 2 stars because I really liked my custom piercing but it never healed properly and it still hurt after having it for four months. I went to different piercing places to ask as to what was wrong with my piercing and they all said the same thing, it wasn't pierced properly that's why it healed with bumps and extra skin tissue. I don't know whether that is true or not but I had to finally take out the piercing because it was painful and getting obviously unattractive. However, my rook piercing is still in good shape and I love it.

I have been searching for a nice piece of nose jewelry that is in the shape of a star. I live in New Mexico and could not find a shop that had one. I even asked one of the tattoo shops if they could order it and they said they had not seen one. I was sure it existed! I was on vacation in California and someone referrred me to Tommy T's. I was told if there was anywhere that might have it it would be there. Well, they had a couple different ones actually. There was a medical implant grade surgical steel one with a gem in the center (they had a bunch of different colors), and there was also 18K nickel free gold. I went for the one that was white gold and I had Tommy change it out for me. I couldn't be happier!

I recently decided to get a piercing. A friend of mine might have breast cancer so my buddies and I thought we would do something special to show our love and support for her. We thought we would get our left nipple pierced. At first it was supposed to be 4 of us, but 2 chickened out haha! My friend gets all her piercings at Tommy T's and she said if we wanted to get pierced for her that we should go have Tommy do it. There was a tattoo parlor my other friend got his tattoo at that also has a piercer, but she said that the jewelry they pierce with at Tommy T's is the best quality and she trusts their work. I was a little nervous, but the piercing was over in a couple seconds and it wasn't that bad. The jewelry selection is huge. We wanted our jewelry to have a Lucky meaning. I asked if they had jewelry with a Shamrock on it and they did! The other guy who got pierced got a ring with a Horshoe on it. Our friend was so happy that we got pierced to support her. If you want a shop that is professional and knows what they are doing go to Tommy T's. If I ever get the urge to get another piercing I'm going back to see Tommy. Thanks man!

I have gotten 3 piercings there and I still want more. Living in Lakewood I haven't been able to find a good shop in the area and then I went to Tommy T's in Huntington Beach. They have a wide selection of jewelry to chose from and they are really good. The place is clean and the people there are very nice. They will help you make the right decision on what type of piercing and what type of jewelry is the best. I had a piercing done at another Tattoo shop in Orange and was not impressed and I haven't gone anywhere else since. I will return to Tommy if I get any more piercings. It does not matter how far you need to travel to get your piercing done right.

We drive from Cerritos to go out to Huntington Beach to go to Tommy T's. It's a clean, professional, and sterile place. It was really important for us to get jewelry that was really small and also good quality. The customer service is very good, and Tommy T is great. He was very patient and helpful. He showed us all different sizes of gemstones and also explained how the jewelry was bio-compatible so it heals quicker and is not irritating to our tissue. Very good to know! We plan on possibly getting more piercings, and bringing our friends along!

I like how they take their piercings very seriously. I've seen some pretty ridiculous piercing shops. Tommy T's always has a wide variety of jewelry. You can find body jewelry anywhere including at the mall, but Tommy carries medical quality jewelry as well as all the cheap stuff. He only pierces you with the medical quality. My ex-girlfriend got pierced at another shop with an industrial grade piece of jewelry and her nose was all messed up. I took her in to see Tommy to have it switched out. I trust the piercers there because they are good at what they do. I went in to get my ears pierced at a large gauge. I ended up getting pierced at a 4 gauge which is pretty big. I was a little concerned about the pain, and as the piercer said "it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be"! I think I am done getting pierced...for now.

My wife and I have been going to Tommy T's for the last 3 years. Professionalism, cleanliness, and quality are the key things we like about Tommy's shop. We have no complaints! The only thing that could be better is how far we drive to get there. We live in Yucaipa, so it takes us about an hour, but it's well worth the trip. Nobody else carries medical implant steel. In our area there is no one who specializes in body piercing. There are some tattoo parlors, but the piercers were young and inexperienced. I've been asking a lot of people about where they got pierced and the grade of metal is low quality and I have seen a lot of people with keloids and infections from their jewelry. We send them in to see Tommy! The jewelry is very important and we find that Tommy T's has the best selection of jewelry and they have a lot more information about aftercare. No other place supplied aftercare or had any substantial information about healing our piercings. We love getting pierced by Tommy and would never go anywhere else
