                    The San Clemente UPS Store on El Camino is a very important business partner for my company. We have relied upon them for years to insure our printing, packing, and shipping needs are done timely and correct, and they have never let us down. Their customer service is remarkably conscientious and the owners, Rick and Jeff, are really great people who have taken the time to understand my recurring business needs and serve us with extraordinary attention. Top-flight operation!

                    The UPS Store at 555 N. El Camino Real in San Clemente, and the UPS Store owner Jeff Raymond are crooks. I just wish that I had read all of the many negative reviews about this store that abound on the Internet before I gave them my money. Last month I shipped a package from this franchise UPS Store in San Clemente. UPS-the shipping company (A.K.A. United Parcel Service of America, Inc.) misplaced it. After they found the package and delivered it, I was told by UPS that they accepted responsibility for the delay and that I was entitled to a full refund for the cost of shipping; but I had to apply for it at the store from where the package was sent. I went back to the franchise UPS Store at 555 N. El Camino Real and filled out and turned in a refund form with a kid that works there, but the store never sent it in. Despite the disappearance of my refund request form, UPS honored my request anyway and credited the bank account of Jeff Raymond and his UPS Store for the total cost of my shipping; however, the UPS Store owner Jeff Raymond says that he will not give me that money that was sent to him on my behalf... ever! This is theft! He claims the excuse that UPS ground shipments are not and cannot be guaranteed, a statement that UPS and Mail Boxes Etc. both say is false. Since this UPS store is a privately owned franchise of Mail Boxes Etc, a subdivision of UPS of America Inc, I contacted MBE corporate offices and plead my case. MBE told me that since Jeff Raymond has already been paid my refund amount, he is required to forward that refund to me. An MBE Corporate representative has called him repeatedly about this matter in an attempt to get him to pay me, but he refuses to return her calls: and he continues to refuse to pay me my refund. Since this UPS Store is a privately owned franchise, MBE cannot outright force him to pay the refund. They can, however, strip him of his franchise if they receive enough valid complaints; so, if you have a complaint about this UPS Store (#4321) or its owner Jeff Raymond, I urge you to call MBE at 1-800-346-3623 and file a complaint. In the meantime, I ask all of you to avoid taking your business and your money to this UPS Store at 555 N. El Camino Real in San Clemente, and instead use one of the many other honest and courteous shipping outlets in our fine and friendly town of San Clemente. Thank you.

                    I paid $60.58 for ground shipping to NY. It took 12 days because UPS admittedly left the package behind. UPS of America, Inc. said it was their fault and that I was entitled to a refund; but I had to file a request form at the UPS Store
