Great fish tacos! Mexican food with a twist. The prices are reasonable and the atmosphere is charming with a Day of the Dead flavor. Make reservations on the weekend.

May I add that this is my favorite restaurant for art. Big, bold with Mexican flourish, whatever my mouth may be eating there my eyes are always happy there. Also, Lula's standard Margarita, served on the rocks in a short tumbler, is one of the best in town. All you need is one to start feeling happy!

Get the goat cheese quesadilla. Just trust me on this one. I substitute the shrimp for chicken, cause I'm wierd about seafood in my Mexican entrees. The amazing combo of flavors all melted together is unique and satisfying. I can only finish half (and that's if i try real hard), cause I usually fill up on the chips and YUMMY carrots. God I love the spicy carrots. The only thing killing the score is that it's way too expensive. Like $20 for a plate.

lulas has great food and is in an awesome location. it is a bit pricy for a burrito, but has great salads and a ton of choices and lots of drink specials!

Gerri Gilliland is a local restaranteur who has become somewhat of a local legend...this is her stab at traditional south/central american cuisine..we LOVE it! A bit high prced, but the quality is good and the menu is unusual, try the mole or the tamales steamed in abnana leaves..yum!
PROS: Great unusual menu
CONS: high prices...butt killing wooden chairs..ouch on both

You can't go wrong with Lula. Whether you're looking for a great Mexican dinner, a good brunch spot or just drinks, Lula's your answer. The atmosphere is fun, the service is excellent, the food is terrific. Lula is one of the best places on Main Street.
