I have been going to Erica for about 5 years now and she really knows what she is doing. She knows I like to keep my hair long so she will take off a few inches and she will cut it to exactly where I want it to be. She and I always have a lot of fun talking about random things when she cuts my hair and she understands my problems that I might have. She has gotten a lot of training and it shows when she does your hair because she gets it precisely without any split ends or one side is longer then the other, instead she aces it every time I go into see her. She's just a young stylist who does a great job at her work and Salon Aguayo is very lucky to have such a great stylist like Erica. =)

I was recommended to Liz by a friend her hair always looked good and I finally went to her, Liz was very friendly and confident she did a beautiful job on my hair color and cut I will be back.

When Karen was finished with my hair, she said, "you look great!, now, when you leave here, you will receive 3 or 4 compliments on your hair, please tell them where you had it done!" She was right! I am getting so many compliments on my cut and color, and I am letting everyone know, Go To Karen Spinelli at Salon Aguayo! Thank you Karen, I feel Beautiful!

i was in pasedena for a softball tournament and i wanted to get my hair done, i know, random. my aunt and i searched the insider pages for the best salons and stylists and we picked out kaytee. i got a base color partial highlight it is the most gorgeous color ive ever had! not to mention how friendly and helpful she was when i told her i was an aspiring stylist, she offered up tons of advice! it was well worth the 150, im even thinking of flying down before my senior portraits for a touch up.. and i live up in fremont!

I have been going to Salon Aguayo for the past 6 years for one reason only, Erica McAdams! She is amazing. She listens to her clients, helps you find the right cut, is brilliant with color, and just an all around wonderful person to spend a few hours with. The best part, if you are not happy for ANY reason, she will fix it, with no attitude at all! I have asked for one thing, got exacty what I said I wanted, went home and changed my mind, only to have Erica graciously take me back the next day and change it for no charge and all the time making me feel comfortable. The owner is abrupt, rude, and does a horrible job so skip his over priced cuts and spend your money with someone who really is an artist.

Kaytee does the BEST color and cuts EVER!! I am a loyal customer of 3 years and will refer anyone to this Salon. They do an excellent job and although it may be a bit pricey, it's COMPLETELY WORTH IT. I've been to many salons and this is the best one I have ever been to.

Erica gave me the best cut and color I have ever had. She is truly an artist. She jusr came back from her advanced hair class in New York. This girl is always getting insperation for what she loves to do and it shows.. Thank erica

Is with Liz at Aguayo. My friends and their friends were coming out with these amazing hairdo's! I had to follow up on their hair person and she is the ONE! My daughter recently saw her for her school dance and she looked beautiful. She is very busy but very easy going which helps because these events can be so stressful. Appreciate the good energy and especially the great work!

i went to salon aguayo a couple of weeks ago and had a great cut and color from karen! she was a good listener and had great suggestions. i was a little nervous when i came in however she quickly helped me feel relaxed. ive been getting so many wonderful compliments on my hair!!!! highly recommend her! good: wonderful service bad: was very busy (but i guess that is a good thing!)

Highest price, Joesph will overlook your requests, color will be wrong. The customer is always wrong at this place. My experience is that I will never return and sorry I ever entered the door.

I love this salon. It's the best salon. I've seen more than four of the stylists and they were all awesome. Joseph is GORGEOUS! He's very professional, easy-going, and magnificent at his work. I would send my own mother to him. Nellie is also excellent. Very sweet and definitely gives you what you want and what you ask for. Her assistant gives good shampoos.Erica is a very COOL person. Not just a good stylist. She's spunky and very out-going. She's fun. And if you're fun, you'll like her. If you're not, then you won't. She does very good color and is great with the younger crowd.Kaytee is a very sweet girl. She's professional and really really REALLY good with color. Apparently, she went to Vidal Sasoon. She also does excellent haircuts.Liz does perfect...and i mean perfect- updos. Perfect.You won't be disappointed when you go to this salon! The front desk is very helpful and sweet and will accommodate to all your hair needs like they did for me!

my cut was great. its very high class, serving wine and mostly any other beverage you would want. full service salon, i also got a facial, best facial ive experienced.
I RECOMMEND it, if you can afford it.

karen is the most professional easy going stylist i've ever had. her assistant kayla is also fabulous. they make a great team, my color and cut came out beautifully.

Joesph is rude, mean and hurtful. I cannot think of how one can even be in busienss accusing his clients of missing appointments when he continues to call an 18 year old number. I have requested they update my information, but they did not. Now I am blammed for missing an appointment, and told I am the only one who ever does miss.
I was a loyal client of 18 + years.
He did not need to be mean and rude. I am glad I was not and will kick the dust off my heels from this alwful place.

First the good news: The salon is in a great space and is clean.

The Ugly: I found the owner Joseph to be distracted, condescending, and rude. I came in for a color and cut. His cut was average, and his color was terrible.

I requested a dark brown shade to cover my highlights. He then barked at his assistant who came back and put color on my hair, which made my hair auburn. He caught that the color was off and without acknowledging the mistake, barked at his assistant again who came back with another bottle--this time turning turned my hair blue/black. He then said that the color was perfect match with my natural color. IAlthough Im of Welsh descent and have naturally dark hair, my natural color is not blue black. Joseph seems like such a want a be hipster and big closet case. Beware.

Oh my GOD! My hairstylist is Remi, and she is absolutely great. She is nice, she listens to what you have to say and she talks to you in this cute little accent that is sooo adorable. If you want a good haircut, and a nice color this woman is the one to go to. She makes you feel comfortable, and she acts so professional. I love her, and I just can't wait to go back. She truly makes you feel like you are important......Elin.....

I was extremely pleased with the professionalism of my color/ cut so I thought I would try the Day Spa for a massage. Prior to my massage I had chronic headaches, neck and shoulder pain. I tell you, Jackie knew what she was doing and a week later I still feel great! It's good to know I don't have to pay a fortune or rather search for a blissfull Massage treatment. The atmosphere is not nearly as extravagant as Burke. W, yet I found the Salon and Spa a pleasant getaway with its charming Old World design right on Green Street. Although the Salon was bustling, I felt relaxed when leaving Day Spa's door...and through the main entrance of the Salon.

I had hi-light done by Nellie and I love them. You can tell that she knows alot about color. She has extended education so she is always up to date with the newest styles. Highly reccommend!!!

All the stylists have excellent skills and use good quality products. Senior stylists charge much more for their services. The place is new and looks very nice and clean.

Very nice day spa. Nice ambiance, cute exterior, but pretty standard fare. Beauty salon in same facility, so a bit more noisy than I'd like. A solid choice, but don't go out of your way.
