To Stacey: You obviously think the world revolves around you. Sure you had to wait to see the doctor. Get used to it, that's the way 99% of doctor's offices are. It's not a fast food joint...go to Jack in the Box across from the office if you want speedy service. Maybe their employees can watch your baby too while they're at it. And how do you expect the Dr's office to babysit your child while you're sitting in the dentist's chair? What if the child did wake up and begin causing a commotion right in the middle of your procedure? I applaud the Dr for standing up for his office and his other patients instead of caving into a selfish, greedy mother like you who expects that just because they have a 4-month old child they deserve special treatment. I'm glad I won't have a chance to see you sitting across from me anymore as I wait to see the doctor.

On to the review: I've been going to Dr Delaney's office for about 12 years now. Most of my experiences have been pleasant. The staff has always been kind and friendly.

Dr Delaney has always been the one to do the checkups and make recommendations on procedures. He's very knowledgable, patient, and pleasant. My only recommendation to him as a patient would be for him to ask the patient "so do you have any questions?" and just take a few extra minutes to get to know the patient. For the most part, he's "business only" which I guess is ok since that's what I'm there for. And only once did he do any actual work on me. It appears that's usually left up to the other doctors.

Dr. Olson is an extremely nice and kind individual who's done a lot of work on me, however he has hands like a butcher and it's a bit difficult for him to work in smaller mouths.

I've also had conflicting assessments of what to do with one of my wisdom teeth. The first time it was assessed, it was recommended that I see a specialist because the curved shape of the root would have made a regular extraction difficult. I did not do the procedure at the time because of financial constraints. A year later I had another assessment done and this time I was told that the procedure could be done in their office without a specialist. Well that didn't make sense...the tooth didn't miraculously change shape...if anything it had gotten worse. But I went ahead with the procedure anyway and, yes, it was the worst extraction experience. Dr. Olson was having great difficulty extracting it. And why? Oh, because of the curvature of the root which he admitted to me was the cause for all the difficulty.

Other than that whole experience, I've had many many other visits to the office regarding the regular maintenance of my teeth (cleanings, drillings, fillings, molds/caps) and they have all been quite satisfactory....not fun (visiting a dentist to me is never fun) but satisfactory.

This dental office is slow, rude and not child friendly. Recently, I had an emergency appointment and took my 4 week old son with me. The entire 2 hours that we were there (1 1/2 hours waiting) he didn't make a sound. When the doctor (Dr. Delaney) finally entered the room, he made a rude comment (twice) that next time I needed to make daycare arrangements eventhough my son was sleeping in his car seat in the corner of the room. Before leaving, I confronted him about his comment and his response was that it would be best for both of us if I found another dentist. You bet, I already did. After being at this dental office for over 8 years, they have lost my business and much more, my confidence in Dr. Delaney's practice.

You will have to harm yourself with alot of patience when you go to this office because they are very busy and they may have you wait for your appointment but the service is very good, the dentists are good and the prices are very competitive.
