D J Computers

Dennis & John are an example of the best. Not only are they very competitive in a marekt dominated by large chain stores, with poor service, they provide un-excelled repair, upgrades and make your system work. I have purchased many computers, monitors, software, etc for decades. I have recommended them to friends, clients and anyone I know that has been frustrated trying to get their computers to work.

Excellent at upgrades, transfering your old data & programs to your new hard drive. A delight when you are comfortable with how your computers work and don't want the newest MIcrosoft software.

They are the best and have great stories about Hong Kong, Shanghai & China!!

I went in for a new AC adaptor and the owner was really helpful. He checked to see if it could be repaired rather than replaced, then looked to see if he had a used replacement on hand (unfortunately, he didn't). After selecting a new one, he opened the box and hooked it up to make sure it worked. He spent time with us and answered a bunch of questions. I'd definitely shop here again.

I've been buying computers form DJ for over a dozen years even though you can get "better" prices for comparable equipment from the Big Boxes. Why do pay the premium? Because anytime I've had a problem with a computer (or plotter) they have responded within hours and kept my business up and running. Danny has survived the shakeouts because he provides a good product with superior support at a fair price. Consider ... I could buy from Dell and pay another $250 for a service contract or I could buy local and be able to walk my ailing computer in for service ... usually the same day. I'll be back.

I strongly recommend DJ Computers because I have been going to them for 8 years now. The staff is very sincere, honest, and knowledgable and certainly give options. I have my full confidence in them whenever I have a computer problem or need repair service. I've referred them to several of my friends and they received quality service. One of my friends who live in the city prefer to drive across the bridge simply because they are satisfied with their quality of business.

I brought-in two desktop machines in the past two years to DJs and have received prompt and intelligent service from the owner. I don't have a large basis of comparison, but DJs was recommended by a good friend because she also received great service for her laptop. DJs seems a good deal to me because the owner will spend time explaining the customer's options and if he can't fix your problem will say as much. The service charge is reasonable cpmpared to less attentive and more expensive computer repair shops. I reccomend DJs.

I strongly recommend you do not patronize this store. I found out the hard way. I was overcharged ($400) for a simple computer repair and my computer was not repaired!. I brought it back once and was told it was fine. It was not. I called DJ Computers and complained. The owner became belligerent and started screaming at me. This is a disreputable company.
