We aren't chinese food aficionados, but when we order out we get pork fried rice, eggplant and kung pao chicken. No one ever complains! I really enjoy it!

I characterize this as "bulk" Chinese food. Generally, the food is basic Americanized Chinese dishes. Portions are large and the service is quick but on the other hand, I question their cleanliness. They've been closed by the health department more than once in the last couple years. There are better options in the area.

A great neighborhood Chinese restaurant I can walk to. It has a late 1960?s kind of retro feel to the decor. All red with Chinese decor, fat red booths and tables. I haven?t had a bad meal here yet. Everything I?ve order over the years has been very tasty. Be warned, the Chinese Chicken salad is a meal in it self. Only the hard core regulars know that you can even order off the menu, like the Sesame Beef or Chicken. You must check it out and go. Never a bad meal.

Pros: I know I'm going to have a very tasty meal

Cons: I can't think of any right now

This is a little neighborhood Chinese place a block from my house. I've heard mixed reviews, and this was my first visit. I was charmed by the atmosphere, there is a nice Chinese decor as well as several articles and pictures of locals. I had chicken lo mein and garlic broccoli, thinking to have enough to eat for tomorrow. Yeah right! They use large Chinese containers with baggies over them so they could stuff them over the brim! I'm so stuffed but still can't lose the containers. I can eat for the week!

And the food is tasty! The lo mein is not too greasy and well flavored with fresh vegetables, although the chicken was low quality dark meat (but cheap). Just needed a little hot sauce. The garlic broccoli is perfect, crispy and perfectly seasoned.

The reason I gave it only 4 stars is because it is Americanized Chinese, but a great takeout or casual dining joint.

Some people say on other sites that the service wasn't that great. I've been very lucky every time I've eaten here the food is a great bargain and the service has been way above average. The Hot and Sour soup is killer and the duck dishes have been sooooooooooo good. It's worth it to me and I'm very picky. Bon Apetit.
