Fresh Choice

This is a good place for salad and more for a reasonable price. They keep everything really neat and clean. Most all staff is friendly and they clear plates and table pretty quickly.
They also have some very good soups. The choices rotate daily.

Fresh Choice may be a chain now. But, this was the first one I ever visited, perhaps because it is across the street from Barnes n Noble. This place is a super salad bar with dozens of fresh selections. Not only are the usual standbys present but items such as edemate and jicama are always available. In the diningroom itself there are baked potatoes, pasta, pizza, fresh breads and a variety of desserts. My favorite are the blueberry muffins which despite their sugar content I can't seem to keep my hands off of.
