Housed in a former Sizzler restaurant, Suzzys Mexican Restaurant offers mildly seasoned, dependable Mexican food staples at bargain prices.

A series of red vinyl booths that seat 4, a few stand alone tables that can be pushed together for families and friends, and a ring of counter stools are generally about half full of regulars, happily noshing their favorite Huevo Rancheros, Carne Asada, Chili Verde plus the usual tacos, quesadillas, enchiladas and tostadas that make up the typical fare.

Breakfast, with fried, homestyle potatoes, a couple of eggs your way, a choice of meats, coffee and fresh flour tortillas costs no more than a trip through your favorite drive through franchise.

Service is friendly, and the restaurant is very clean, with subdued lighting. Diners don't come for the ambience or decor, but leave satisfied by the good-sized portions and fair prices.

PROS: Good Food, Fair Prices, Nice Service
CONS: Would like to see homemade tamales and Chicken Mole
