Wasted birthday gift
by Phila S.
I made the colossal mistake of buying my sister a gift certificate to this place with a bra fitting thinking that it will be fun for her. The bra they sold her was way too tight for her and it kept digging into her shoulders. She had expressed her concern about the bra size but they assured her it will be fine. After the first time she could never use it again. The same with the underwear. It did exactly what she did not want it to do. Since she had paid above the certificate she went back to them and they refused to accept that the bra was too tight and the underwear the wrong fit, did not offer a different size for her to try or speak to manager. Very poor customer service for a place that it supposed to sell high end lingerie, not to mention the fact that the fitters clearly have no idea what they're doing. Completely unacceptable.

While I have never actually purchased garments here, I have purchased gift certificates for my girlfriend. She absolutely loves the place. I must admit, they have some very well-made and sexy lingerie. My girlfriend felt very comfortable with the professional fitting and very much enjoyed the experience. Gift certificates here are a great idea because she gets what she wants and clothing (let alone lingerie) is nearly impossible to buy for someone else.

Lovely Selection, Poor Customer Service

After reading the online reviews, I couldn't wait to give this store a try. I went in searching for a perfect fitting, bust flattering bra. It turned out to be a disappointing experience! The sales girl took one measurement of my rib cage, asked me the size of the bra I was wearing, and then came back with bras the same band size, but 2 full cup sizes up from what I was originally wearing. A bit shocked at the increase in size, she talked me into the size by telling me the bra I had on was too small for me. So I gave in and bought one in beige and one in black. The next day I wore the black one, and after about an hour, it began chaffing my rib cage, and poking into my arm pit. I finally couldn't take it anymore and changed out of it. I called the store to ask about their return policy, which is 7 days, store credit only, on merchandise with the tags still attached. The girl on the phone agreed to let me bring back the bra to have a look at why it was so uncomfortable, and stated she was putting a note in my customer file that I was bringing the bra back. I get back to the store, and there is no note in my file. The sales girl, who originally sold me the bra, was the only one in the store. She admits the bra is too big. It was literally resting 1 " below my breast, down on my rib cage, with my breast not filling it out properly, and the underwire poking me in the armpit. However, even after admiting she sold me a bra that was too big for me, she refuses to exchange it because it had been worn, stating it was a small store and they couldn't afford to take back used merchandise because they can't resell it by law, and I, the customer, would feel the same way about it if I owned the store. Dumbfounded, I requested she call the manager, to which she went and called the store owner, who also said, No Returns. Completely baffled, I exchanged the beige one for a smaller size, and left the store frustrated. After I got back home, I took my exchanged bra out of the bag, and realize the store tag was removed from the bra by the sales girl as she was bagging the purhcase. (Without a store tag attached, they will not accept it for returns.) While they call themselves professional fitters, they will sell you whatever you are willing to buy, and then refuse to stand behind their fittings. Now I'm stuck with an expensive bra that doesn't fit, and another bra I could not exchange again even if I wanted to. That is no way to keep a customer base. I will not be going back!

One of the very few spots in the bay area which has a very high quality of lingerie at great prices. they have a very good selection of lingerie with all good brands available. However at times you may have trouble finding your sizes
PROS: Great selection at great prices
CONS: availability of sizes can be a problem at times

The lingerie world has been inundated, has been flooded, has been completely taken over by Victoria Secrets that you dont even think of other options. We all need to remember that there are some incredibly sexy independent lingerie designers out there and this place carries a ton of it. This place is great!
