I brought my Siberian Husky pup to Sunny Dog Place when he was 4 months old for training classes. After his first class, I let him stay for doggie day care for half day and he loved it! The staff is friendly and very helpful. I felt at ease leaving him in their care. It was my first experience with having a group of dogs in a cageless environment and it was great! The only drawback is that the male dogs have to be neutered, so unfortunately I cannot bring Shadow for day care now that he is over 6 months old. It is a shame, because he really enjoyed his time there.

My Terrier Mix needed a place to stay right away, my petsitter got sick and we almost cancelled our travel plans but a friend of mine recommended we try Sunny Dogs. The staff was great about scheduling a interview at the spur of the moment. They even called my vet and had them fax over the vaccinations since I couldn't my paperwork.

When we picked up Bella (our small but mighty dog) she looked happy. We bring her in for daycare now as well, her whole body wiggles when we pull into the driveway. There is someone always there with the dogs and the staff is knowledgeable about dog behavior. Bella was nervous at first and they spent extra time with her to get him adjusted. Love my petsitter and still use her for walks and short overnight stays but Sunny Dogs is great for getting dogs used to each other and for peace of mind when you have to leave them.

I am so thankful for the folks at Sunny Dog Place. They have consistently gone out of their way to be helpful to me and Winnie. I never worry about Winnie when she is at Sunny Dog Place. She is watched over carefully and they also try to help her learn appropriate behavior. Winnie and I regularly use the day care and have also used the overnight services. The staff is knowledgeable, kind and dependable. They have continually gone the extra mile to be helpful and supportive. Also, the facilities are clean and well maintained.

My dog spent the weekend at Doggie land. I picked her up at 4PM and by 8PM we were in urgent care. My dog had been impaled by what appears to have been a fence of some sort. The wound in her leg was so deep and long that she had gotten a huge fever (105 degrees). According to the vet the wound was definately over 24 hours old. The staff at doggie land neglected to inform me that my dog was injured. With a wound that size there was definately bloodshed and the staff did not notice! The worst part of the situation was that it took the owner of the company OVER 5 WEEKS TO CONTACT ME REGARDING THE SITUATION AND IS REFUSING TO REFUND MY MONEY for the time my dog spent at their facility. If their customer service is this poor it is awful to think what they do to our dogs when we are not there to supervise. I would not recommend this place to anyone - think twice before you pay top dollar to have your dogs stay here!

Pros: nothing

Cons: staff neglect and horrible customer service

Doggie Land is a great place to keep your dog(s), I have 2 and had only boarded them at our vet. I love our vet but they had to stay in cages most of the time. At Doggie Land, the dogs run around an play with their other dog friends. The dogs came home happy and tired from their week long stay. My Puggle played with the medium dogs and my Lab played with the larger dogs. They have a small dog area too.

I take them back for daycare once a week so that I can have a day off without the kids and dogs for a few hours. Their staff is really nice and knowledgeable and they have someone there 24 hours a day to watch over the dogs. Doggie Land also has trainers on staff. My unruly Puggle needed some manners training and was also becoming food aggressive, their trainers trained me too and taught me to be a better owner and pack leader. My neighbor recommended them and I'm glad she did. They do a dog interview beforehand and let me keep my dogs there for the day at no charge so that we and our dogs could be comfortable leaving them there.

I will use them in the future for boarding and I am glad I can take them for daycare where they can come home and be tired after a fun play day.

Pros: Cage-free, separated by size, knowledgeable-friendly staff, trainers on staff, like dogs alot!

Cons: A little more expensive than regular kennels or vets but worth it- dogs got a little dirty from playing but I ordered a bath when I boarded them

I love Doggie Land and so do my Chi-mix and my Airedale terrier. When I first brought my Chi mix in she was an extremely frightened shaking little dog. After a week in the competent hands of the kennel staff she is more confident and social. My friends and family are amazed at her "make-over." My Airedale loves doggie day care. He's not an alpha dog, and the staff take special care to introduce him to the cage free environment a few dogs at a time in a separate kennel area so he can acclimate gradually. He comes home a happy and tired guy. Since I have to work full time Doggie Land provides me and my dogs with an invaluable service. Price vs value...it's a bargain. I've recommended Doggie Land to at least a half dozen friends and they tell me it's a sensational place!

I have boarded our dog here several times and have been extremely happy with the service. One time my flight was late coming back and they did not charge me for the additional time. The price to board is reasonable and includes food if you do not bring a special diet for your furry friend. It is cageless, but your dog has to pass a behavioral test before boarding. Our dog always comes home tired from running around...

PROS: Staffed 24 hours a day, great caring staff
CONS: Can be expensive if boarding long term.

No Cage Kennel: Is that an oxymoron? I've taken my dog there twice and my dog comes home exhausted! I guess since there are no cages and the dogs are constantly moving and interacting with each other. They move around in packs and they don't take too many breaks! He also comes home filthy because the staff uses water to spray the dogs when they get too aggressive and dirt and water equals mud on your dogs. They are more expensive than other dog kennels, due to the fact that they don't use any cages.

PROS: No cages, free open space
CONS: dog comes home dirty

Very clean 24 hr. boarding facility. Staff is very knowledgeable and caring. Dogs aren't caged and are evaluated behaviorally/physically for compatibilty with other dogs prior to being boarded. Dogs are monitored 24 hrs by staff. Very reasonable rates and are open 365 days a year. They also have great referrals for dog grooming, pet sitters, etc.
