Sierra Madre Congregational

I visited this church recently with a friend and really enjoyed it. It was much smaller than I was used to - the sanctuary probably held 150-200 people - but it had a good feel to it. There was a pretty good diversity age-wise - didn't see too many young adults but more families and married couples. The worship seemed real and authentic. The sanctuary itself is beautiful. If you are looking for a small church feel, this one would be good to try.

I visited this the Congregational Church of Sierra Madre recently around the holidays and I had a very good experience. The church definitely has a small, midwest feel to it, even though it's in Southern California. I got the impression that these people really care about each other and about God. I thought the music was terrific and that the pastor's message was great!

I attend a mothers group at this church. I have found the staff and pastoral team to be so kind and friendly. Many of the mothers in my group attend this church too. I have been impressed with the wide variety of programming in this church and the cohesiveness of its congregation.

Sierra madre is such a nice city. Small town feel. This church has a great look inside and out. Almost looks like it doesn't belong in SoCal. Nice place for weddings and Pastor Anderson is great. www.smccnet.org
