Get the white sauce from the shrimp enchiladas, to dip your tortilla chips into. Amazing!

I am new to this area and was craving Mexican food. My wife looked around and read good reviews about this place. Little did i know that this place is like Taco Bell on steroids. The food was expensive and low quality. The tortillas were stale because they use a microwave to warm them up not a comal. They use the same sauce for every dish. And why do they use comino in spanish rice? the carne carne asada was not carne asada. It was low quality steak you find for reduced for quick sale. It was very thin flavorless and chewy. This place didn't even sell Horchata. i had the chile relleno and carnitas burrito. the chile relleno tasted premade and the flavor was all wrong and the carnitas burrito was plain. For the price of the food i was expecting better quality food. The only good thing about this place is that they keep bringing you chips non stop. So if your into chips this place is for you. Overall if your are hispanic and know good Mexican food do not bother with this place!! I would recommend trying local taqueria or one of those hole in the wall places. Save your time and money and dont let their fancy website fool you.

This place has great food and very very nice servers! We went here for a friends birthday and they treated her very special. The portions were gigantic too so big each person had to bring something home with them. The burrito I ordered was the size of my head. I can't wait to go back and try their enchiladas!

We went on 8/3/08 on a Sunday around 7pm. The Service was GREAT! My niece and her fiancee visiting from Portland Oregon. We wanted to try it out- heard so much about this restaurant. I had
the combination ( Chile Relleno, Chile Verde enchilada , Rice and beans) the beans were creamy with lots of cheese. The enchilada - tortilla tasted home made and the chile verde - chunks of meat- green sauce was to die for... The chile relleno had ALOT of cheese and was Delicious! My husband ordered a carnitas burrito - lots of meat . My nice and her husband ordered a carnitas plate- cooked to perfection! I read some of the reviews - a few gave one star reviews- don't understand why... they must be very bitter people.
The majority of reviews were outstanding 5 star reviews. Would love to know if they will be opening up one in the bay area (Los Gatos-Saratoga - Sunnyvale area) This is definately the BEST MEXICAN FOOD I HAVE EVER TASTED... The waiter was very professional and courteous. Seriously to you all out their - this place is reallllly realllly gooood!

This restuarant is set up a little awkward. Part of the building is brand new and the other side is old and grungy. The prices are a little high but the dishes are plenty big so I guess you really get your money's worth. The service was a little slow but overall the food and ambiance was great.

There are 2 Casa Orozco's one in Dublin and the other in Livermore. Both have been recently remodeled and look great. They both have fantastic bars which are always fun with friends. They make great flavored margaritas. The food is pretty good considering there are not many great Mexican restaurants in the area. They are a little pricey but not too bad. Definately give it a try!

My husband and I had heard sooo many good things about this place and were so eager to finally try it! WIth much anticipation we headed out to what we thought would be a pleasant dinning experience. The service was ok., but the food was horrible and not fresh AT ALL. Anyone that knows food can tell that the salsa is from a can, the beans are from a can, most of the foods are frozen and simply thawed out and thrown in the microwave upon order. My husband had the chile relleno and was still frozen in the middle.... IT WAS HORRIBLE.. My husband and i concluded that the only reason why people like this place so much is because they pile the cheese on most of their entrees, who doesnt like melted cheese over their food???!!...LOL Meted cheese will make just about any mexican dish flavorful...LOL. OVerall, we were very dissapointed and WILL NEVER visit that place AGAIN.

We really enjoy going to Casa Orozco for good Mexican Food. It's not a fast food type restaurant. I love their meat- I can't remember the exact name on the menu but I believe is New York Stake (Angus). The portions are big, but we usually take the leftovers home. I believe the dishes are priced right- between $12- $15 per dish. The service is OK, although they could improve a little bit. I believe it's because they are pretty busy. They just went major renovation, so the building on the outside improved a lot.

Pros: Good food, good price

Cons: Service sometime slow

This is the best mexican restaurant, cantina style food in the area(dublin, san ramon, danville, walnut creek, pleasanton)!! Even the taquerias in the area do not have carnitas like Orozco's. Mole enchiladas are very good, never had a bad meal...slightly more expensive but better than any other mexican food restaurant out here!! Not like my mom's, but no one's is.... Gaurantee best mex. I'm continually looking for anything comprable in the area and have not found anything close.... also other review was old...they have expanded restaurant this year.

Pros: just expanded space

Cons: wait on the weekends, no reservations

This is a very good restaurant. The quality of the food is good, and tastes great, but it's honestly over priced. You really pay for the atmosphere. Their margaritas are yummy, but the regular size is small, and overpriced for the size. I like this business because I can take my kids there without having to tell them to be quite because it's SO loud. What I don't like is there is typically an approximate wait of at least an hour on Thursday, Friday or Saturday nights. They aren't a great deal, but like I said, the atmosphere is great. They are the only type of resaurant in this town, so that's why they do so well.

PROS: good food, great atmosphere
CONS: parking is bad, food overpriced for mexican food, small margaritas

The food at Casa Orozco is excellant. Before I started going there I was not a fan on Mexican restaurants. This restaurant changed my view on that. I love the shrimp enchalatas and the carne asada. Their refried beans are heavenly. Definately a great place to go, family friendly, but beware of the wait during weekend evenings.

PROS: Excellent food
CONS: Can have long waits during prime time

This is another typical Mexican restaurant, although there were quite a few seafood entrees on the menu, compared to similar restaurants. However, the prices were generally much higher than you would find at a comparable Mexican restaurant. Paying more would be ok, but the food was just average, and the service was lacking.
