Caston's Tv's & Appliances

Like other locals, we try to keep our money in the community. HUGE mistake in doing business with Caston's. Owner (Chris) told me he could get new washer and dryer in 2-3 days. As 1 week turned into 2, he started avoiding my calls. We asked for a refund and for 3 straight days he told me it had been done and it should post soon. Finally, we asked him to fax us proof that he had reversed the charges. When he did this, the date and time stamp indicated that he had reversed the charges within the past 5 minutes. He clearly holds ABSOLUTELY NO REGARD FOR HIS CUSTOMERS. It is astonishing that Castons is still in business under his management. Heed this advice and DO NOT BUY FROM CASTONS!

I bought a microwave and a wine cooler. They had parts missing and never got the missing parts from the owner.They promised to get them and never did.I had to order them myself and paid for them myself.Don't buy anything in there. Once you leave, you are on your own.Terrible customer service.Do not shopp here.

Took forever to receive my viking bbq. the ignitor doesn't work. they said they would contact viking and get service person within 2 business days. Haven't heard from anyone after 10 days. standing heater i purchased had missing parts because they gave me their floor model without telling me. they said they would get back to me for new replacement. Haven't heard from them. This is with dealing with the owner. Expect their employees to follow the terrible example.

During my first visit to Caston's all the sales staff was very helpful. When I came back to place my order, the original salesman that I dealt with wasn't in, but another salesman went out of his way to complete my order.
When my products were delivered, the delivery crew was outstanding under very difficult circumstances.
Thank you so much Everyone at Caston's! I will definitely tell all my friends to shop there!

We ordered a frige and a dishwasher from Caston's upon moving into a new house. We always try to "shop local" and support our town's small-businessmen, but this time it was a mistake. Delivery was VERY VERY slow, and when I called about it, their attitude was "tough luck, that's just the way it is". They knew we were living without appliances and told us upon purchase that it would be 2-3 days. Ended up being 2 weeks. Now, 10 months later, the refrig. needs service (sounds like the compressor is going bad) and they just gave me a 1-800 number for KitchenAid/Maytag. No service from them at all and they woun't even recommend a local service shop either. We spent over $3000 there for 2 appliances and once we were out the door they couldn't have carded less. NEVER AGAIN will I shop there. Don't make the same mistake I did.

Castons is an alterntative to the big box stores, so we looked there recently when we were shopping for a combination microvave/ hood range. We found an older store with bad floors and a messy appearance. The selection was OK, but we ultimately found a better price at one of the big box stores.
