I am happy to report that this was a wonderful experience. I have been scrapbooking for over ten years and I have seen many stores come & go, but I'm sure this place will be around for awhile. The products offered are the latest trends in the market but there is also a grand selection of the standard fair for beginning or simple scrappers. The project presentations in the store are fresh and appear achievable for all levels of scrappers. The interesting thing about her prices is that many of them are in line with the "big box" stores or online vendors. I was really impressed with the different price ranges of supplies offered , it seems like I could continue to create beautiful pages without breaking the bank. Her weekly crops are also reasonably priced and the use of store tools is very generous. The crop space is very bright and large. There is plenty of space to work on projects in the store if you can't wait to get home or have a limited space. On the day I was there , the owner Beverly was in the shop, she was very knowledgeable about all of the latest buzz in the industry. She is very much an accomplished scrapper & has well known guest contributors that give classes at the store. I only wish that she offered classes more often or offered page packets from a monthly selection that she designs. She has a lot of pages on display. I also spied an award winning layout from the California State Fair. It is one of the neatest things in the store that the page samples are actually not imported by the professional vendors but by Beverly & her team. The pages were very nice to look at & she assured me that they projects were doable. As a final note the store is located near Fruitridge & 43rd near in the Vic's shopping center near the post office< very easy to find. It is not located near or behind a gas station as reported by another reviewer.

Pros: GREAT PRICES & CONTEMPORARY STOCK

Cons: more classes should be offered

i was a little hesitant about going here (the last thing i need is another hobby), but my dragged me to this tiny shop, set in a weird shopping area. i can't really call it a a strip shopping center - there was a gas station in fron of it, and a day care center on the side - it's across from the park - but you really have to know where you're going to find it. anyway - i needed to put together a memory book and this is the place to go. with different papers, every kind of scissor you would ever want and lots of stickers, etc. you can put together a book for every occasion. i was looking for parisian flavored stickers and found a ton of things i could use. the prices are ok - not great.

PROS: big array of products
CONS: a little pricey

.

My first impression of the novelty store is clean, organized and lots of fun.

I was on a mission to try and create a couple of scrapebook pages for a family scrapebook to be given to my mother and step-father's 25th Anniversary.

The clerk there was very helpful.

PROS: Clean
CONS: Felt a little uncertain at first
