Waxing isn't pleasurable period. However, it's the cleanliness, the artistry of the waxing and how comfortable you feel with the waxing specialist. I've been going to the Beehive for about 11 years. I love the Beehive. I won't let anyone touch my eyebrows other than Laverne. Friends, family and strangers alike ALWAYS compliment me on my eyebrows. She is the master artist with my brows.. even other waxing specialists that I happen to meet will compliment me on my brows. I also get my bikini wax there. Laverne always listens to me and asks me exactly what I want. I've been to others for bikini wax and they just RIP away w/out asking me how far I want to go - hence, one time I ended up with the Brazilian, which is not for everyone, and certainly not for me.... but, the point is, the Beehive (Laverne) is the only place for my waxing treatments!

I absolutely love going to the Beehive. Always fast and clean, i've never been unsatisfied. Wendy is my favorite so I'd recommend her if you ever want to try a Brazilian.

Best Place in Town. I highly recommend this salon. Waxing lasts weeks and is as comfortable as waxing can be. Also very CLEAN, unlike other places.

I have been getting waxed for years . .and though it is a bit pricey the hard wax is the best and they do a fantastic job! . . .Your boyfriend/husband will love you for it!!

Quick and Painless

Visited for the first time... Monique was great...quick! The salon uses hard wax which is a plus. Somewhat pricy... recently visited another salon on the same block; however, the results were not the same. I would definitely go back to beehive.

This is a cute little place to go to for waxing. I've been a few times and have been happy with the results each time. The prices are fair and the service is good. The decor and environment is very ambient. Might be hard to find the first time. It's off of PCH, but the entrance is towards the back of the building.

The best place to get waxed!

I have been a client of both locations of the Beehive and have never been disappointed! The Corona Del Mar location has gone through some changes in the last few months and is even better than before! The girls are so professional and love doing a good job. I would never go any where else to get waxed!

Very slow waxing experience

I have been waxing for over 15 years and I have been to many waxing salons . . . however, I have never had an experience where the waxer took SO LONG. I asked for full leg and brazilian. after an hour and a half, Jennifer "completed" her job. In my opinion, she hadn't done a full leg, but I just wanted to leave.
as a side note: the brazilian does not include your "tush" as they say and that is extra and only upon request, but lord only knows how long that would take.
What was waxed was done well and clean. but it is not worth the time it takes.

Having hair ripped from your unmentionable areas is never fun, but Wendy at the Beehive makes it as comfortable as possible. And you get free undies before leaving...always a nice treat!
