A dark wooden door marks the otherwise anonymous entrance to this posh party palace. Inside, a koi pond pathway leads to the bar, where a massive Buddha fountain bubbles as patrons lounge in canopied beds and fluffy sofas. Two fireplaces warm the patio with gray stone and green glass; another embellishes the small red-walled main dining room. Asian-inspired menu specialties include wild boar with mango coulis, venison with cranberries and roasted halibut.

Rude bartender acts like he doesn't want your business and it's offensive 1 Star Rating - Unsatisfactory

Please understand that one star on this site is by definition simply "Not Recommended." Two stars is "Below Average" Well, both apply I guess, but how could I recommend something that is below average when Los Angeles has so many restaurants. I attended a birthday party on Thursday evening 10-23-08 at around 11PM and the only employee of this place that I saw was the bartender. After discussing with another guy how rude he was (and I was one of 40 or more guests ordering drinks which cost $12 for a Tanquerey and Soda,) I felt the whole time like the bartender wished we had not come - and that we would leave as soon as possible and never come back again. Well, I definitely will not go to that place again. I expect to feel like my business is wanted especially since I work 5 nights a week giving excellent customer service and when I spend $80 on a few cocktails and gratuity at a place, I want like my customers demand, excellent, if not good or even decent customer service. It's really offensive in a weak economy to go out and spend money at a place on a rare night off where the staff has an attitude and is too comfortable with his job. I would so much rather have something nice to say about this place. The decor made me think - well someone somewhere loved it at one time - but they leave jerks in charge!

Too expensive for average food and absolutely worst service in history. 1 Star Rating - Unsatisfactory

This was bar none my worst experience eating out in L.A. or any other city. We were seated after a private party took place and it seemed as if the entire staff had basically checked out for the evening. Our server was rude and admitted to being new. Some of the party had ordered appetizers to come out with the entrees and others wanted them before the entree.. so wouldn't you know it.. the entrees all come out first. The check was split and people were charged for the wrong things. It was a huge mess and when the manager/owner came over to "fix it" he was rude and his answer was "well, you got your food." I will NEVER EVER go back here again. In fact I will go out of my way to tell people to avoid this place at all costs. It ruined the entire night needless to say.

Pros: The bar/lounge area was nice. That's it.
Cons: Everything else.

Best Food, Service and Ambience 5 Star Rating - World class

We absolutely love this place and go there again and again.

1. Food is probably the best Indian food I have had in the US. The chef is from the absolute best Indian restaurant in India - Bhukhara, in Maurya, New Delhi. The Clinton family had multiple meals there when they were in New Delhi.

2. The ambience is awesome - for a lounge atmosphere, outdoor dining or just a plain table. All three options are available.

3. The exotic drinks are fabulous, and great starters to accompany them..

Last and probably the most important

You get personalized service.

Pros: Great Food, Ambience and Service
Cons: A tad expensive, but worth every penny!!
