I went to this place about 12 years ago and to this day I cringe and get an angry knot in my belly and the taste of bile in my mouth when i think about Miceli's. We went to this place to support my husband's guitar teacher, he was playing a jazz gig there. We sat down, ordered a pizza and sodas and my husband, myself and a college friend of ours. The pizza had just come we were listening to our teacher friend play all was nice, quiet and fine UNTIL an older fella came to our table and told my husband and our friend that he wanted them out. We asked why, that we were'nt aware of any problem, we had ordered food so we weren't loitering we were listening to the great music with respectful quiet because the musician was our teacher. This old man, presumably the owner, said he didn't need a "reason" he told the two men to leave, he looked me over once and said that I could stay. By myself?! I do feel I need to mention that we were of different racial flavors at our table and up to that day none of us EVER felt that ugly feeling before or since. I actually went home and cried after this experience. I felt that this is a perfect place to leave an honest opinion, we had a nice time before this man came to expell our racially mixed selves so all I can comment on is that our treatment was inexcusable for any time anywhere. They are a family restaurant, but are you the "right" family? All I can hope for is that the close minded rude ways of this old fella died out and a more accepting human way of thinking has rooted at Miceli's.
PROS:
CONS: Red swollen eyes after a long cry.
