Mother's Market & Kitchen

I like Mothers market in Costa Mesa. They have very earthy people that are really into the vitamines. THey are very knowledgeable about what vitamine is necessary for what ailment. I think they are very helpful when you are trying to pick between brands as well.

Mother's has plenty of good deals on food and supplements. Many of their bulk bin items (psillium, oats, for example) are far cheaper than the grocery store. And their restaurant has awesome food with huge servings and good service. They even have live music on weekends.
The staff is so helpful too, and if you have any question, they are so patient. The even sell natural cosmetics--plus so many other great items!

I bought my baby's organic baby food at Mother's. At only 89 cents per jar. The price is just the same as Gerber's baby food which is sold at regular grocery stores. Mother's carries the top two organic baby and toddler food, Healthy Times and Earth's Best. As my baby became a toddler I took advantage of Mother's great selection of organic cereals and snack bars.

PROS: Price can't be beat for organic baby food!
CONS: The aisles are a bit narrow

Mother's Market is a small yet amazing market. If you love organic foods, vegan cookies, cruelty-free beauty products, vegetarian/vegan meat, Mother's Market is for you. Not only is the customer service wonderful, but the stock they offer is excellent. The people there are very helpful and know the right vegetarian beef or the best vegan lip balm. The manager is also very nice. However, don't expect the prices to be so low. Remember that organic goods and vegan beauty products may be a bit pricier than your local average supermarket. Why are they higher? Because of the great quality organic and vegan goods offer.

Mother's is great, always interesting choices, especially if you are a veggie or vegan- you'll be in heaven with all the options available. Try the vitamin section, it's overwhelming!

I love this store, its my favorite grocery store to buy organic foods and it isnt just foods... This store also has a wide variety of items such as medicine, to drinks.

look no further for all your hippie needs, it's here. great place for organic, vegetarian, vegan goods that you can't find at your regular neighborhood supermarkets. read about some new age food trend? you'll probably be able to find it here... and pay the premium price for it as well. this place is sort of like a neughborhood Whole Foods before it exploded nationwide.

this store has a lot of fresh vegetables and fruit. they also have a wide variety of vegetarian and organic foods. the place is clean, not too long lines, and healthy stuff.

I love shopping at this store. They always have everything I'm looking for and the customer services is great. I purchase a lot of herbs from here and they sell only the top brands.

I have frequented this market for many years, and am continually impressed by their selection and prices on anything from vitamins to fresh produce. You may have a little trouble parking but otherwise this is a great place to shop for your organic food and vitamin needs.

Its amazing to see such a variety of vegetables and incredible items of food. I love to shop at this place becoz of all fresh fruits and vegetables. Bit pricey but i wouldnt paying a buck more for fresh things.

I love this store, it's probably one of my favorite places to come for food. It kind of reminds me of a more upscale and more unique Trader Joes. It's completely vegetarian and they have a great selection of prepackaged ready to eat food for lunches.They're all healthy and fresh. They also have a deli inside with really healthy entrees. They have a great selection of fresh fruits and vegetables and they've got a whole section of vitamins. Very nice store a bit more expensive than Trader Joe's but they have a different selection.

For those vegetarians and vegan lovers-this is the store to shop. They have an array of organic and natural foods. A bit more expensive than Trader Joe's but it is because of the quality of food you are receiving. No chemicals or pesticides in this shop. A place to upgrade one's diet and lower cholestrol.

Great store, they've got another one in Costa Mesa on 17th street. A wonderful establishment, perfect place to pick up a meal on the go or a frozen entree that doesn't have 1000 calories. This store offers great dried fruits, produce and vitamins. Great staff, very friendly. One of my favorite markets.

Wonderful market, with organic and fresh foods and produce. Though the food is a bit more expensive than Trader Joe's and others', it has high quality healthy food. It also has a small deli with smoothies, wheat grass shots and soups and sandwiches for the hearty vegetarian. Wonderful place to pick up a healthy but tasty treat.

This is my favorite store. They have unique vegetables. The healthy place to find great food items. The deli is to die for. A great take out food selection. Vitamins and health foods are in abundance here. It is so much fun just to walk in look around. There is so much to see and buy.
