I think this place is the BEST. I have tried so many kids salons who over charge and give horrible hair cuts. DIANA has been cutting my sons hair for 3 years and he always looks awesome. They recently did a remodel and the place looks great. They also have video games for your kids to play with while they are cutting their hair. My daughters always buy cute hair bows and rubber bands that are very well priced. I love KIDS CUTS!!!

This place is a dump. The cutters all look like sad saps. No enthusiasm, no fun, just a junky looking place... go figure!

Would not recommend it. Took my daughter to have her hair braided and curled for a wedding she was in and it was a nightmare. The girl doing her hair was suppose to be the "best". I made her redo the first braid because it was so messy and not even close to straight. When all was said and done it took her an hour and cost $45 and to top it off when we were getting dressed the rubberbands broke and the braid started falling out.

My son has had his hair cut here about 4 times. The cuts have never been consistent, but they always look nice, and I have no complaints with the technical skill of the stylists.

I do agree with the commenter who said that the place is dirty. I wouldn't call it filthy, but it is definitely not clean. The last time we were there there was a HUGE mound of clipped hair piled up in a back corner next to the trash. It really grossed me out, and I wondered why the person sweeping didn't just make the final move to lift the dustpan into the trash itself. In addition, all of the toys that are given to play with are COVERED in hair clippings. None of those toys have ever been clean you can be sure of that.

Finally, the stylists are not exactly warm and friendly. We've been to two and neither one of them introduced themselves to my son or me. My son finally asked her name after she had been working on him for 5 min. They are all business and seem to have little patience and even less desire to be there.

All that said, we'll probably continue going since the cuts are decent and it's quick. There aren't many other options in the area. However, I'm likely to start bringing my son to my stylist soon. She actually charges $5 less for a kid's cut.

I was shocked to see the review on not recommending this place. I've been taking my kids for years. They LOVE it! All the stylists are very friendly and do great cuts.I've never been disappointed. I recommend this place to all my friends.

We tried a place in T.O (Kids Cuts) near best buy, across from El Torito, yesterday.

The cut ended up being a bit of a bowl cut and I had to fix it myself at home.

The salon was filthy and a bit dark. Candy from the 25cent candy machines was
all over the floor and I had to keep my 3 year old from eating picking them up and eating them. (at least 3 different types of candy and 20 pieces or more scattered about the floor)

The lady cutting his hair was really fast with him, even though he was the model client. Sitting there without a care in the world, no fussing, not scared at all. She totally man-handled him. Bossing him around "put your head down, sit up, look over here" all in a bossy tone. NOT what I would expect from a children's hair stylist AND especially since my little boy is so tender hearted and compliant. She did not seem to know how to talk with toddlers.

The cut was $16 plus tip.

You and your kids will love the fun atmosphere of this salon. All the stylists are trained to cut hair, not only for the squirmy toddler but also for the kid in you. The older kids like the fact that that their inputs are as valued as their moms. Barry, the owner has been cutting my son's hair for years. He has been a haircutter to the stars- even winning an Emmy for the tv show, Sisters. The video games will keep your children busy while they're waiting for their sibling's haircut to be finished. Adult services include all the full services you would expect in any salon. It is best to make an appointment but walk ins are welcome and they are usually not busy during the late afternoons. The busiest times seem to be the after school rush hour between 3-4 pm. You will enjoy the reasonable prices and your kids will love their lollipop treat after their haircuts.

PROS: Fun, kid friendy salon. Reasonable prices. Great cuts for the whole family
CONS: Parking can limited depending on time
