Nelson Chung is expert colorist but overfilled salon makes him nutty

There is no doubt in my mind that Nelson Chung is an expert colorist..he has a good eye, that is when the salon is calm and he's able to take his time with you. I've loved my hair and I've absolutely been disgusted with my hair. The time I was delighted, when the salon was calm, he took his time and did beautiful work. The time I was disgusted, salon was overbooked, noisy, Nelson said the receptionist had once again overbooked him, he looked like he wanted to run from the salon...it was a hurry-up job done on my hair..didn't look fabulous and I walked out paying an extra $100 over my last visit, for an exact service I had received 6 mos earlier. Was a little unsettling.
***Not regarding Chung...but the african-american stylist that cuts to his right...this man and the assistant were bad mouthing clientele they had worked out, who paid, and left. They bad-mounthed a very nice, very pretty actress in her late twenties as well as a lady possibly in her 60's that has a screen-writer daughter and has a weathly successful husband in Beverly Hills. These two clients were very nice people. These two employees thought nothing of making fun of their clientele "in front" of clientele that was directly to their left... Not good guys...gossip gets out there then comes back to haunt you***
***This salon could work on a few things*** ...Stop over booking people...it leads to poor end-service to clients all that day AND leads to frustrated hairstylists***

This is the salon that Sarah Michelle Gellar,Heather Graham, and many celebrities go to. They also have the hottest and the most effective deep conditioning hair treatment, Ionic Rescue Treatment, available. Ask for Nelson as your stylist.

Nelson Chang is the best colorist I've ever had. I came to him for color correction, and it turned out gorgeous. His highlights and low lights are beautiful and very natural looking. His support staff is great at making you feel welcomed and comfortable. While you're there, be sure to get an ionic conditioning treatment - your hair will thank you for it! I highly recommend Nelson - he's been a life saver for me!!!!
