Berkley Hair Studio

I've been to this place a couple times to get my hair cut. What attracted me to the place is that it's cheap! Compared to hair places on University and College this is way cheaper! It's location on Telegraph makes it the perfect place for Cal students who don't have much time. I usually go there after class because it's on the way home.

As mentioned before this place knows how to cut "asian" hair. Everytime I've been here I've been very happy with the cut. Check it out!

This hair salon mainly caters to the Asian crowd of college students who go to UC Berkeley. The barber has a very good understanding of what looks good on Asian heads. Not too many people (even college students!) know about this salon. The price for a cut is relatively inexpensive, considering other options around the area.

This is not to say that non-Asians would get a second class cut here. It is obvious that the lady who works there is a skilled professional who knows what would look good on any person's head.

PROS: Great haircuts, friendly service.
CONS: May take a while to wait to get your haircut.

I went to this hair studio for all my years as a student in Berkeley. The lines can be long sometimes, but that can be dealt with by calling ahead of time to arrange for an appointment. The stylist is always friendly, the price is the best in Berkeley, and they usually come out looking good.
