OMG this website has been a godsend! We have been dealing with warranty issues on our couches from about a week after we bought them in Feb 2007. We purchased the extended 5 year warranty and then in 2008 we started getting the Roomsource bankruptcy run around. They told us that their lawyers told them they cannot send anyone out to do service until their BK was finished. They kept telling me to call back every few weeks. This went on for over 10 weeks until finally they told me that they were no longer honoring any of the warranties and that I needed to file a complaint with the bankruptcy courts. I asked how and she said I should contact an attorney. I was dumbfounded. I couldn't afford an attorney, so I've been living with lumps in my cushions and seams coming undone for the last 2 years. After going into America's Furniture Galleries yesterday to try to purchase new couches, the salesman told me to do more research because the warranties have to be honored. SO GLAD I DID because I came across this website and the phone numbers listed below for who to call.

This store is a ripe off full of lies, and bad sales i well never do any business with them ever. they sold me a living room set that squeaks and is falling a part. am so sorry i paid good money for the crap they sold to me, tell everyone you know not to buy from these people.

I got my Room Source chair fixed yesterday 1/3/11!!!

Wanted to share with all of you customers. Here is the number you need to call for your warranty repair.
John Perez Services, INC 1-888-737-5999.
They are contracted to do the warranty work. I complained to Wells Fargo who I was paying for my furniture and they sent these wonderful people to help.

I also purchased a warranty. My sofa set is falling apart. I did claim a warranty item. One of the cushions was fallening apart. It took RS several attempts and almost 14 months to get the order right. They just don't care. If someone does start a class action law suit. Please contact me. We still have a few yrs left on our warranty and have several issues.

Warranty Update.
Just so you all know if you bought your furniture All Star Warranty does not cover these. You still have to go through Guardsman which from experience they are wothless. I spoke with the owner of All Star today and he said they stoped doing business with them in june of 2008 when they filed for bankruptcy.

So if you bought your furnitute prior to june 1 2008 call 916-730-1005 and they will for sure handle it.

If you are like me then we are still SOL dealing with a piece of crap!

Warranty Update.

We purchased a sectional at Room Source four years ago, and opted to also purchase the warranty as well to cover any stains or damage for five years (at a cost of $200+) Last January the cushions started to sag and sink, and needed cleaning...so I called Room Source about scheduling warranty service. I was told that they were filing for bankruptcy and that they would make restitution on all warranties as part of their bankruptcy filing. I have called six times since then, and now all lines are disconnected, and the website has not been updated since 2006. I have searced online to see if any class action lawsuits have been filed against Room Source LLC so that customers with effective warranties can get some or all of their money back since those services were paid for but not rendered......no lawsuits yet that I have found. If any attorney is interested please post a blog and I guarantee you will have several takers....Room Source and its owners, you are complete and total crooks and you deserved to go out of business. Thanks for sticking it to your customers, and then not following through with signed contracts to provide service we paid for.

They have gone out of business and we have two years left on our five year warrenty and a broken sectional and hide-a-bed. We've already had the repair people out once before. Apparently, they have filed bankruptcy and will soon be opening again according to RoomSource.com. Don't buy anything from them!!

I bought a couch and chair in Feb 2007. Needless to say, my couch is broken, and staples are coming out of the fabric on the chair and couch. This isn't normal wear and tear, I'm very careful with my belongings to make sure they last. But this stuff, is just plain garbage. They deserve to go out of business, but what are we, the consumers who are stuck with junk that's falling apart to do? To make this more painful, I'm still paying for this furniture!!! They are horrible and I hope the other furniture stores don't hire these sales people as employees.

Do not purchase from this company. They lie , they tell you anything to get your business and then don't stand behind any warranties or promises . My wife and I are suing them to try and get some resolve to our warranty issue

I just called room source to get service for a sofa I have that is under warranty. I was told by customer service that my only recourse is to file a claim with the bankruptcy court since room source is no longer honoring any warranties for items they have sold. This applies to current customers as well as existing warranties.

My husband and I recently purchased furniture from this store. I must say, we were very pleased. The service was wonderful!. The salesperson, Scott, was very nice and refreshingly honest.. They delivered the furniture when promised. They give you a warranty of seven years. If you're not satisfied, they try to replace the item or offer to give you your money back..I would recommend anyone to buy furniture from this store. Room source and their employees will tell you anything to get you to buy. We are moving into our house this weekend and still we have no furniture. We bought our sofas on 08/30. They promised it would be delivered by the time we moved in. Two weeks later no one calls us. I call them and the manager Ray told me that they over sold the sofas and that we (who paid cash and did not finance the sofas) had to wait until the end of September to receive the sofas. When we complained he said, there is a shipment coming in on the 14th and the 28th and promised that our furniture would be delivered by the 19th just in time for us to move into our house. I was promised that i would get a call that following Monday to set up a delivery date and time. No one called me. I called the next day only to hear that the shipment is coming in on 09/29. I asked for my money back and they said, they couldn't get it to me today but it would take 7-10 business days. I called Corporate and asked them if he had cancelled the order and requested the check. They never heard of me and had nothing in the system that I ordered anything. A woman from corporate looked into it, called me back and said the check will be ready on Tuesday and that I can pick it up from the Arden store where we purchased the sofas. I told her that I would pick the check up at their office on 10th street on Tuesday. We will see if the check is available as promised. I don't trust them because they are filing bankruptcy and whos to say they won't pass me a bad check.

We bought a leather set - couch, ottoman, oversized chair- and paid $5000!! Three years later it is trash. It was supposed to be whole grain leather (thus the high price) and it clearly isn't. Whole grain leather should look better and better with time - lasting many years. The dye has worn off on all the cushions and any moisture makes the dye come off so the armrests are spotted! I called the store about 2 years ago and was told I had to file a claim with the manufacturer. They denied me saying normal wear and tear wasn't covered. Are you kidding me!!! My husband is a contractor and we have been very vocal with all his customers about how dishonest Room Source is. We keep the couches so we can show people what they sold us. AWFUL!!!

My daughter recently was bought furniture from roomsource she was upset at the time and walk in and picked out a few pieces of furniture. Roomsource staff took total advantage of the fact she was so upset and told her things we later found out that wasn't true. I also just spent over $5000.00 at roomsource in Rancho Cordova and never even got a thank you. They will promise anything to get you to buy, but forget about you the minute you sign on the dotted line, do not shop here you will regret it. Go anywhere but here, and don't listen to the manager Ray he doesn't follow though with anything. I only can hope that eventually the they will be put out of business. I would never shop at roomsource. I have RSD in my left foot and wanted a nice bed, little did I know they saw me coming and took total advantage of me and my family.
