El Cid Restaurant

Tee paella is good, not excellent, but the ambiance and the show, make up for the lack of more original Spanish food. It's worth to, and check out the old d Hollywood affair.

We went to El Cid Restaurant for a company dinner. Quite underwhelming food quality, though a good bar. The main show was good, not great, but the late show was much more entertaining. It was ok for "free."

El Cid is a hidden gem in Hollywood with hearty food and exciting entertainment. The flamenco dancing shows are very interesting and the ambiance is casual and welcoming.

The food here is great, but it also includes a great flamenco show. The dancers are top notch and they even have a male flamenco. The musicians are incredible and remind me of Gipsy Kings.

The venue is in a classic old theatre and it stands on a hill. Getting down the hill can feel slightly treacherous. Don't get yourself too drunk! (smile)

PROS: Great Food, Great show!
CONS: Dangerous hillside entry
