I haven't been there for a few years. I went in...I ordered two meals. The worker forgot to give me two drinks. That was fine...I wasn't very upset. It's a busy place. Got my order. Tasted it.....and ummmm just a little disappointed. Maybe I've changed but it wasn't as good as it was ten years ago. Prices have gone up.....But it's ok. Tables were also dirty......But I got what I paid for.

Pros: cheap meal

Cons: They didn't give me my drinks

My kids love for me to take them there anytime we are in Berkeley or when they think of having pizza! They've been asking since I've taken them when they were very little 5 and 8 years of age and now they are teenagers. It's a fun and tasty all in one!

Good pizza if you don't know anything about pizza. Mostly students here, those who are on a budget. But every time I have gone, the pizza is always soggy, something is wrong with it.

Pros: cheap eats

And what do most college kids and bar hoppers know about pizza? Absolutely nothing. There are frozen pizzas that are more legitimate.

Cons: Not worth the 3 dollars a slice because it's that bad

I left Berkeley more than a year ago. I missed Blondie's a lot, which was my favorite pizza place. I insisted to go Blondie's again during my short visit back to Berkeley this week. I took a friend there today. But this time, its pizza and staff disappointed me.

The guy at the counter never gave my change back, and insisted that he already gave it back to me. Besides, he charged me two soda while I ordered one. Frankly speaking, although there are more fruit and salad to buy at Blondie's, the taste of the pizza disappointed me also. It was outstanding, but is below average now. I will forget about this place, and suggest my friends to pay by credit card at Blondie's.

This place has the best slices of pizza I've ever tasted. I've had it 3 times a day before. After work, I stop buy for a slice of cheese. They occasionally have my favorite, "hawaiin", and so I get that, but the reason I go is the high quality cheese on the pizza. The pizza prices are a bit elevated, going for $3 a slice, but when the pizza comes right out of the oven, the price is well worth it. I often go with friends, but if I have a compulsion to go buy a slice of blondies pizza, I will definetly go buy some.

When I used to eat pizza, I loved Blondies, and would even buy a pizza to bring back to Los Angeles. The slices are thick and can easily serve as a meal. The workers are fun and friendly but sometimes make you perform tricks to get your food, which can be a bit irritating.

blondies has the fattest slices of pizza, ever. the pizza slices are so big, you'd need a fork to eat 'em. you could get one slice of cheese pizza for under $3.

If you're looking for good pizza, Blondie's Pizza is the place to go. However, it's generally very crowded, not much of an enviorment to eat, and it costs a lot of money. Get over those hurdles and you will love Blondies Pizza because of the super fast and efficient service.

The slices of pizza are large and very tasty.

Easily the most convenient place to eat in Berkeley. The location is great and the service is quick and easy. The slices are hot and crisp. They have daily specials for great prices that aren't going to break your bank. One slice can fill you up.

The only downside to this restaurant is that it is nearly impossible to sit down and eat at the restaurant. But the portions are generous and the pizza is delicious and well priced. You can get a large slice of pizza and a drink for under 4 bucks. But it would be better to take the slice and walk around on Telegraph Avenue then try to sit down.

I have been going to this place for pizza for a long time. They always ahve great pizza and they have good deals. It's like $3 for a soda and a relatively large slice of pizza. That's is comparitively a very good price for some darn good pizza. The staff is usually pretty cool and sometimes, if it's the last slice on the board and ther's a new pizza coming out, they'll give you 2 pieces.

Blondie's is a Berkeley landmark, drawing customers from UC Berkeley students, tourists and townspeople alike. In addition to their main staples of hot inexpensive Pepperoni, Cheese and Vegetarian slices, Blondie's also has a rotation of daily pizza specials (such as Carnivore, Chicken Alfredo, BBQ Chicken).

You can dine in the restaurant or carry out. The small dining room has large open windows and table & counter seating that allow you view the happenings of Telegraph Ave as you eat.

Blondie's is a great place to stop to enjoy a hot and tasty pizza slice.

PROS: Great pizza, open late, pizza variety, good price

Blondies Pizza is one of the best pizza joints up in Berkeley aside from Zachary's deep dish. This place has high quality pizza, big slices, and reasonable prices that are affordable for the college student budget. I've eaten here almost everyday since I moved to school and I still love it. Come visit and have a taste for yourself.

This is the ultimate hangout. Whenever I would come to the city, I do my best to make it here for at least one slice. Great place to meet people! Is downtown and near clubs so you could eat and jam without looking for another parking space. The pizza is very highly recommended.

Blondie's, ideally situated one block from the UC Berkeley campus, has perfectly edible pizza and even better t-shirts, but anyone dining there should be aware of the reputation of the owner, whose tantrums at both Blondie's and Rasputin records are nearly legendary among the Telegraph workers. See if you can strike a deal with the cashier whereby your three dollars and change ends up in the tip jar as opposed to a rich crybaby's pockets.

If you're looking for something great to eat while up late, this is perfect. It's a walk-in and grab a slick kind of place. With a few tables, you can usually find a seat, but when crowded, expect to stand. What I like most is the late night hours. 1:30 (I think) on weekdays and 2:00 on Fri. Sat.

Pros: Open late, $3.50 slice/soda, Funky atmosphere

each individual slice is very generous - one is really all you'll need. The daily specials is the best valued but everything is of great value there, just can't go wrong with anything.

Blondie's is, without question, one of the best pizzas in the Bay Area. It's New York style pizza, with the thinner crust and BIG slices. Even the plain cheese pizza is very tasty. And the wall murals are worth the visit, by themselves. A San Francisco tradition, right on Powell St. by the cable car turnaround.

OVERRATED. I've been to Blondie's in the past and while it was the best SF had to offer in the early 90's, their slices have increasing shrunk in size. Can I get some toppings with that crust?

Except for the fact that you must pass by some very hungry looking people on the street, this pizza is one of the reasons to visit the city. Generous slices of thick crust with delicious sauce and enough cheese to totally sink your teeth in. One piece will do for a meal at lunch or dinner. Eat it in the new Union Square and be entertained for your whole lunch hour.

After having once experienced the Cheeseboard, Zachary's and Arinell's, one should simply scoff at the Telegraph tourists and college freshmen that hang out in the wide front awnings. Only when not in control and having a crass bent towards gluttony have I happened into this joint, only to cram as much possible flavorless door and sweating cheese into my food-hole. When solely concentrating on the Telegraph pizza scene, Blondie's is above reproach, but should you be more toppings vs. crust minded (and these are the same people who are sandwich fillings vs. sandwich bread), Blondie's is the place for the carb/crust enthusiast. Fat Slice, on the other hand, is for the fat-laden pepperoni addicts.

Blondie's pizza is worth a trip to San Francisco. A stop on Powell Street to catch a cable car is made complete with a slice of pepperoni pizza and a soft drink... I'm talking real pizza, smothered with pepperoni and thick juicy cheese... it takes real skill to manage that large juicy pizza slice and a soft drink... a skill best learned on the sidewalk in front of Blondie's...
What moves Blondie's to the head of the pizza class? Simple, its slice size, cheese quality, friendly service... and home style taste... you can't beat that Blondie's taste.
I live is Guam and my San Francisco visit always starts with a pizza stop at Blondie's...

I harken back to the good ol' days of two slices at Blondie's, a couple quarts at tbe Bears' Lair and then a giant frozen yogurt around the corner. Pick any two of the three and you'd be woozy -- all three and you're in big, big trouble.
