As a person who has worked in the Beauty Industry for years, I've been going to Kenworthy for all my hair and nail services for just as long and would have it no other way. I get my hair cut and colored by Sonah and my mani & pedi with Hannah. I'm constantly getting compliments from on my hair and nails - often by other respected industry professionals! I went to Sonah let me just say off hand the BEST color I have ever had! She listened to what I wanted and suggested colors that may compliment my skin! I got all over color and some nice caramel highlights they look amaziing! I have gotten so many compliments!

I just loooove it! and im still excited for my hair i feel good and sexy lol I will def come back to Sonah in a month when I need my touch up! + great price for the service!

I've been going to Ken Worthy Salon for the past few years. I have my hair done by Bob always and he is the best. When I go there, I don't need to say anything but he does his amazing work and I'm ALWAYS 100% satisfied without fail. I feel very confortable and I know he does what he thinks the best for my look.

Everytime I walk out of this salon, I feel so beautiful that I own that whole street!!

I been going to Liz Ahn for the past few years now and even followed her from back in her beauty school days!
that's how awesome she is
she knows what you want and gives you the exact style you been craving for.
if you want something funky and cool she's your gal
and if you want something classic and sophisticated she can do that too
she is also an awesome colorist and really knows her stuff
seriosuly its rare to see an asian girl that can pull off blonde as well as she does
she is awesome and higly recommended! what are you waiting for? go now!

I have never written a review for anything but after having my 2nd haircut with Liz I felt it was absolutely necessary to rave about Liz and the AMAZING haircuts she?s given me. For the first time in my life I LOVE my hair. Liz is a great listener and makes sure to understand exactly what I want and then delivers the best results every time. She?s really nice and makes the experience comfortable and enjoyable. I have gotten my haircut at a lot of places and before Liz I never went back to the same person twice. I don?t know what I?d do without Liz but I do know my hair would not look half as good as it does now that she?s my hairdresser. THANKS LIZ!

I've been getting my hair cut + colored by LIz Ahn for the past 2-3 years now and it's been nothing short of fabulous. She is talented on so many levels, taking my hair from it's long long straight styles to cute short cuts, colors, highlights, lowlights, and back to longer lengths. Needless to say whatever style I'm sporting Liz always makes sure it comes out amazing. I feel very well taken care of and relaxed throughout my whole appointment. I love liz and she makes everything worthwhile in the end. I've only gotten more and more compliments on my hair. I trust Liz enough to let her do what looks good for my hair because no matter what she decides she always makes it look great! She is a pro when it comes to the men's cuts as well. My boyfriend comes to get his cuts from Liz cuz no one else can quite style it up like she can. So if you are deciding whether or not it's worth it to spend some $$ for an awesome hair style, the answer is YES and ask for LIZ AHN!!

This girl was very different from prior hair cutters/stylists I've come across. She is very up front and wants to make your day by doing a great job with your hair. She knows how important it is to have consistent clientele and happy ones at that! You won't regret having Liz work with your hair and you'll be asking for her business card when it's over. She cuts men's hair well and she also cuts my girlfriend's hair, which is how I found out about her. Ask for Liz when you go to Kenworthy Salon if you want to look and feel like a rockstar!!! Yeahhhh!

So my friend Liz works at this place and i always go because she is the best. I will never let anyone else cut my hair since I've met her. Now i don't cut hair as often as most guys do, usually between 4-6 weeks for a haircut for me, so i don't visit the salon much, but Liz manages to make it look nice every time i go, and shes super nice n cute, big plus =D

Ashley has been doing my hair for 5 years. She just gave me an amazing hair cut that totally shapes my face. I get tons of compliments and my boyfriend loves it! She also does my color, I am blonde and she knows how to color it so it looks so natural. Ashley is so down to earth and a wonderful person. You will not go wrong! I refer all my friends to her because she is the best!!!

Living in LA, it is almost impossible to find a salon that can do what you want without breaking the bank, right? Well, I did my research and came across Ken Worthy Salon. All their reviews were right on, so I called and made an appt. I told them to place me with a more "affordable" hair stylist. I figured, this is a high end salon in Beverly Hills...I highly doubt they hire just anybody here. I got matched with Bob and he did an amazing job. Here is why I like Bob: #1) He knows what he is doing #2) My hair turns out gorgeous each time I go to him #3) He doesn't sit and tell me how bad my hair looks or how the prior stylist botched my hair #4) He is friendly and finally #5) He is a lot more affordable than the other stylists at the salon.
If you are thinking of Ken Worthy Salon, you must ask for Bob. He's the way to go!

The service was amazing! Everyone from the receptionist to the stylist were very helpful and friendly. Dean did a spectacular job on my color and cut. As soon as I left the salon I had a few different women stop me on the street and comment about how they loved my hair. I thought this would soon end once I began to style my own hair but it hasn't. I have had more comments on my hair since going to The Kenworthy salon. The salon is also in a great location, it really doesn't get any better. Thank you Kenworthy Salon!

Salons are love em or leave em, this is a LOVE. I had been with my previous stylist for over 3 years, until she made a mess out of my hair. Two others tried to reverse the mess..Deane has what it takes! He was such a perfectionist. After my hair was dried, we noticed a little more color correction needed, he didn't think twice about going back in to fix it. His assistant, Stephanie (i believe), was so much fun too! The location is great, the service-EVERYTHING.

I needed to find a stylist in LA since seeing my stylist in Santa Barbara was just not feasible anymore. I spent hours searching on Citysearch and decided to go here based on the reviews. I left the salon looking like Mary Tyler Moore and it was the first time I've ever cried after a haircut. I don't know any 22-year olds that would want this hairstyle. The staff is very, very friendly and I don't sense any hint of pretentiousness at all. The price was very good for my neighborhood (Beverly Hills/West Hollywood). I'm sure the stylist is good at cutting hair but I think she misunderstood what I wanted. If you go, just have a very clear idea of what you want. Me, I'm wearing my hair back and searching for a different stylist.

I've been having Deane do my color and cut for a few years now, at the recommendation of a dear friend.

Before I started going to him, my hair was a nightmare- overprocessed, unstylish, and limp. My hair is very fine and wispy to begin with, and I just couldn't find someone who would not completely destroy it.

In a couple of hours, Deane transformed my mop into a lush, silky, beautiful work of art! I am now addicted to his work, and will never be able to go anyplace else, because no one has the vision and talent that he possesses. He is always on the cutting edge of style, extremely courteous and professional, and always leaves you looking magnificent.

The salon staff is always friendly and attentive. The salon itself is always kept immaculately clean, bright, and classy.

My only complaint is that I can not keep Deane at home as my personal stylist!

I went to Kenworthy in search of a change, and I was lucky enough to get in with Dana! She took the time to listen, calmed my nerves and totally undertood what i was after. She continued to provide excellent customer service throughout my visit, and everyone there makes you feel like you are among friends. No pretention despite the high end area. Dana is not only talented, she is really into continuing her education, staying current, and is super hip and cute! I am referring all of my friends and totally recommend her and the salon!

I was curious about the new straightening processes I had heard about. My hair is a little past my shoulders, coarse and wavy. I also highlight and color my hair. I called Kenworthy and was given a consultation appointment with Dana. She was very knowledgeable and I was pleased to learn she had recently returned from training in Japan with the owners and creators of the straightening system. In terms I could understand, she explained the process, after-care, and why I was a good candidate for it. With the system they use even colored and highlighted hair can be straightened. I came back for the acutal straightening appointment which took about 2.5-3 hours. It was painless and I was so happy and couldn't believe the result. I can just blowdry my hair with my fingers and it's straight and shiny. I purchased the accompanying shampoo and leave-in conditioner and my hair is in great condition. It is definintely worth the time and money and has made my life so much easier. I'm hooked!

I just recently dyed my hair from a dark brown color to a lighter brown with highlights (for the summer) and I love it. I have no idea what the other person was talking about but Sonah did an absolutely awesome job on my hair. I will definitely going back to Sonah for a touch-up.

i just moved to cali from the east coast a few months ago, so I was really nervous about finding a good salon because it's so hard to find a good hair stylist. after reading all the reviews on citysearch i decided to go for it since, afterall, it is in beverly hills. i assumed i would somewhat be pleased with my hair! the first time i went to ashley for color, and it was petty much just average. definitly not worth the 210$ i dropped. i can totally still see my old highlights from before and the color didnt come out amazing at all.. i actually really wanted to re-dye it but i didn't want to damage my hair more. decided to try the salon again and went back to get a cut from bobby. hes really nice and the cut was ok.. i hated the way he blowdried my hair. i thought it was hideous but i was sure it would look ok after i straightened it myself. it was ok after i did straighten my own hair.. but pretty much the cut wasnt worth the 100$ and i don't plan on going back because the prices are ridiculous for the results i have gotten thus far. plus, both times ive seen the owner and even though he looks at me, and was right next to me the whole time, he never bothered to even say hi or make me feel welcomed. some owner.. the video of his salon and comments on how amazing he is are definitley overrated. i guess he's only friendly and welcoming to certain people because he definitely did not make an effort with me. the first time i went he was actually yelling at someone on the phone while he was cutting this guys hair. great impression.

Sonah destroyed my color. I went in with pictures of what I wanted and she went a totally different way and it costed me a fortune. I don't even want to leave the house I'm so upset with my color. Do yourself a favor; in Beverley Hills there are thousands of salons- so dont risk and subject yourself to Sonah. My beautiful blonde hair is now a drab, gross color and I STILL have my roots! And the worst part is everyone was trying to convince me it was pretty while I was leaving, even though it looked 100x's worse than when I arrived and I still had an inch of dark roots..???

I was in LA from Portland, OR visiting family and my cousin told me about Danielle Palmer. She made an appointment for me and believe me my hair was in serious distress. Have not had a "stylist" or really anyone who knew what they were doing, for quite some time. In a matter of three hours with very little input from me, I left that salon a new woman. My hair looked healthy, the color was fabulous and the service spectacular. I experienced firsthand all the wonderful things I had been told about Danielle to be true. I understand why people from all over U.S. travel to her. I will be back to see her without a doubt. In addition to her skills as a stylist, she is the nicest person I have met. I was so fortunate to have been introduced to Danielle and Kenworthy is very lucky to have her.

I'm a customer who comes regularly from from another state just to get my hair done at this salon. Deane does an AMAZING job with my color. I've been varying shades of blonde for a good many years, and many times haven't been too happy. Deane has managed to give me such a wonderful natural color, with lots of beautiful highlights! I'm often asked who does my hair. I owe it all to Deane! Give Kenworthy a try! You won't be disappointed!

Make sure you book it with Sonah. She really does wonders and I am not just saying that because she made my hair shinny and healthy, I mean she really is the best colorist I have ever been to. Also the products they use are really good. I think that is really important in a salon. If I were to rate Kenworthy a 1-10 I would give it a 11! Thats how good it is!!!!

As a brand new transplant to LA, I walked into Kenworthy Salon wondering if the service would live up to the ambiance and ridiculously swanky location. I needed some help in order to glamorize my look and blend in with all the beautiful people I suddenly saw every time I stepped out the door...clearly I wasn't in KY anymore! I am a perfectionist and a committment phobe across the board ...I can't tell you how many hair stylists I have loved and left after only a few brief encounters. True to form, I wasn't taking any chances and had booked my appointment with the owner himself, Dean. I found Dean to be warm and have wonderful energy which made me relax...and I was pretty keyed up initially!. After he eyed my limp, unimpressive hair with the eagle eye of an artist, we decided on a plan and got started. Bottom line is I walked out of there feeling like I belonged shopping and dining on the famous surrounding streets. And here is the best part...I have never had cuts grow out so amazingly well...they somehow miraculously keeps their shape for months??? So despite the fact that I do drop quite a bit of $$$ when I visit the salon, it's all good because I only need to go back every 10-12 weeks. And I rationalize things by reminding myself that you wear your hair every day of your life...how many times have I splurged on a pair of shoes or a dress that I can only wear once in awhile? I have been faithful to Kenworthy Salon for over a year now...and that means a lot coming from someone who has "relationship issues" like myself! :)

Hello fellow Angelina's. I wanted to share with all of you a little place on Cannon called Kenworthy Salon. I have been a blonde for a long long time and have used many stylists throughout the years. As any self respecting blondie would tell you, it is really hard to find a stylist that gets it right everytime. Erin is my stylists at Kenworthy she cuts, styles, and colors my hair every few weeks so that I can feel confident when I work as a Hollywood Party Planner. I have been to many salons In Los Angeles, and this is by far one of the best. I can only say because they have a hair dresser by the name of Sonah. She saved my hair. After going to a place that tottally burned my hair from highlights, she made the color back to normal. I thought it was gonna take me a while to get it back to normal, but Sonah did it the first time she colored. Not only that, but she made it vibrant and healthier. The coloring came along with the cut that was even better. She does wonders!! The products and service are great. Also the price is not bad for the area code either. One big thing you will be satisfied with is that they don't make you wait. Even though the salon is busy, they are very organized with their schedule!! Try this salon, you won't regret it!

Danielle Palmer! Have traveled extensively and experienced various hair stylists coast to cost and external to the U.S. Came into contact with Danielle during a "Makeover" program and have gone to her since. A few years ago I was in Florida and due to various circumstances, lost Danielle's phone number - she had moved to a different Salon. FINALLY located Danielle again .. by that time my hair was every color under the sun, shapeless and ugly (for want of a better word). Danielle made it all better within the first session. PLUS I love the low-key, low-hype the salon presents. It has the Beverly Hills class without the pretentiousness.

Pros: Absolutely everything, including parking convenience

This is a great salon. Surprisingly affordable considering the zip code. Always busy, but they are very accommodating. Sonah really is amazing, but it seems to me all of the other stylists are extremely talented too. I?ve recommended this place to all of my friends, many of whom have been paying twice as much for other salons. The color here is as good as any other salon, and any other price. Great customer service, too.

I moved to California 6 months ago and have had 2 really bad hair experiences. After reading the reviews on citysearch I decided to give Kenworthy a try and I am so glad I did. I got an appoitment with Sonah and she made my hair gorgeous. My hair was fried and white from the other horrible hair salon and she took it back to a natural gorgeous blonde. And what's most important is to finish my color I needed to get highlights put in, but she felt it wouldn't be worth it to do that part yet since my hair was too weak. So she recommened I wait 3 weeks and then do it, which was the best advice ever. However the color looks so amazing now, even without the highlights, I could live happily with this! No one would believe how fried and white my hair was looking at me now. I have found the best salon and Sonah is the best hair stylist ever! Whatever you do; ask for her!

I went to Kenworthy based on reviews here and am definitely glad I did! PLEASE REQUEST SONAH if you want someone who is young, hip, sweet and down-to-earth who not only saved my terrible dye job (from previous other salon), but gave me a great haircut all while having great natural conversation!!! I literally had a "halo" ring of dark blonde in three different shades growing out in my hair and some dark brown almost black older color mixed in...yes it was hideous! Well SONAH to the rescue and now I have gorgeous dk blonde locks with highlights and a flirty layered cut. My hair feels so healthy and shiny. She even cut it so that when I wear it naturally curly it looks great too. She gave styling tips and helped me to choose the right products for my hair without pushing anything on me, and the price was definitely right for how long she took on me!

Pros: SONAH, unpretentious atmosphere, and the assistants were very nice!

At first I was a little hesitant to get anything done in Beverly Hills because I didn't want to deal with any pretentiousness that people have come to expect from the area. But when I went to Kenworthy (upon the recommendation of a friend), I was pleasantly surprised by how open and friendly everyone was. I needed to get my color done (it was long overdue) and got in with Sonah. Right off the bat, she put me at ease and made me feel like we've been long time girlfriends. I wasn't really sure what I wanted, but assumed that I would just get my blonde highlights retouched. But she suggested that I do something different-go darker. I was a little skeptical, at first, but I thought that I'd give it a try...it was the best thing I could have done. I didn't expect to love it as much as I do. Not only did the color come out really rich, but it looks and feels soooo healthy (which is just as important-who wants fried, dull-looking hair?)!! My experience @ Kenworthy and with Sonah was the best, from start to finish. I'm not really the type to right reviews for anything, but my color came out so great, I had to share my experience. Sonah not only had the eye to see something that I couldn't, but she followed through with everything and totally exceeded my expectations. I love it!!

I first heard about Kenworthy from some co-workers and I thought.....Ya, OK. Just another "Beverly HIlls" salon. I had been going to the same person for over 5 years and I was happy but with all the hype about Kenworthy, I tried it. I called to make an appointment and the girl who answered the phone wasnt very nice so I passed. A couple months went by and I thought I would try again. This time a very cheerful, happy, and very willing to help man answered the phone. He was more than helpful. I told him a little about myself and the type of hair I have. He booked me an appointment and I was now on my way to seeing what all the talk was about. When I got there I was greeted ,by whom I assume was the man who answered the phone, and was completely taken care of. When I finally met Rebecca she made me feel as though I had been going to her for the last 5 years and not my usual. We talked about my ideas for my hair and she gave her very detailed opinions. I was now getting very excited. During the appointment she attended to me the whole time and gave me her undivided attention. She didnt pass me around or hand me off to an assistant like most of these "Beverly Hills" salons. I loved loved loved my haircut and my color was amazing. I highly recommend Rebecca and you'll know why after you see for yourself.

I was introduced to Kenworthy salon by this website and since it was one of the highest rating i decided to check the salon out. I called in and made an appointment for some highlights and a haircut, and i was booked with a stylist named Sonah. I was a little nervous to go in to a new salon and a new stylist but when i met Sonah, she was so warm, friendly , outgoing, just an awsome person she made me feel very comfortable. She ended up telling me her opinionof what she would do with my hair, and since my hair was very fine i felt like i couldnt really do anything to my hair to make it fuller , but she gave me some awsome tips on how to blowdry my hair and the cut she gave me actually made my hair look alot more healthier and fuller looking. I was so amazed by her talent and her skills to make me look like a million bucks !!! Not only a great haircut she also did a wonderfull job on my color. ive never gotten so many compliments on my hair in my life she is just sooooooooo talented and sweet, I would highly highly recommend her to everone ....

I have been seeing Ashley for over a year now. SInce I model and act my hair has to look amazing and it always does thanks to her! I moved here from New York City and had nothing but horrifying experiences until I found Ashley (on Citysearch). I naturally have dark brown hair and she takes me to light blonde and no one believes I have dark hair. Her cuts are great too! She is a perfectionist and that is hard to find. Prices are very reasonable, be ready to have so many compliments that you'll be here writing a review too!

Been to many hair salon's, but keworthy was by far the best salon I have been to. What made it the best? was the girl who did my hair and that was SONAH, SONAH,SONAH!! she was so warm and friendly, like I knew her for years...She did a great job on my hair, I got my base, highlights and a cut done and I was just speechless because it was like she was in my head, she knew the right color and cut I wanted. Everyone is just loving my hair, from my grandma to my husband! I can't thank her enough! But THANK YOU!!

I just moved to LA and found Kenworthy Salon on Citysearch. When I called for my appointment, I let them know I have very thick, wavy, and slightly corse hair and I was set up with Bob. When I went in, I told him I wanted to "look more LA." Bob just listened and told me that he knows what I need. I was so nervous because he just grabbed the scissors and went for it. WOW! This man is amazing!!! I've had some fabulous haircuts, but the one Bob gave me is like in a whole different league. He is truly a master with scissors and I felt like he really cared about every detail to ensure the final result was perfection. He took his time make me look fabulous. I also enjoyed that everyone at the salon was sweet and helpful, not pretentious like I would have invisioned a salon in Beverly Hills.

After a bad breakup, I was in desperate need of something new so, of course, I wanted to change everything about my hair. A friend of mine recommended Kenworthy Salon in Beverly Hills and I am so glad she did. Sonah gave me an amazing new hairstyle and beautiful color. I love love love my hair!!!! I was pleased to have the opportunity to book an appointment for color with Deane Kenworthy at his salon.This decision was prompted by my growing boredom - the usual routine found in hair salon scenes in around Beverly Hills or upscale OC- the ongoing clone color/cuts.After a brief analysis and conversation,Deane envisioned just what was necessary to alter my dull hair and old style.The end result was a more dimensional color,an fabulous new cut to magically take my baby fine hair to cutting-edge level! A friendly staff,and appears that stylists are attentive to customers, making it an unpretentious place to be. Hours flexible for [us] busy people;and a full service salon for one-stopping: hair to facials and mani/pedicures.My recent experience at Kenowrthy will ensure both my return and referrals! Saturdays are busiest, so book an appointment, early!

Pros: Positive energy, with a more intimate Beverly Hills comfort level.

I booked an appointment with Rebecca after having her highly reccomended by a stranger who I had complimented while in line getting coffee. My blind faith in the glowing review of a total stranger has brought me more attention on my hair than I thought possible. From my first visit, Rebecca made me feel as if I had been coming to her for years and actually took the time to give me pointers on how to style my hair myself. My only complaint is that I now have a new addiction. In addition to color and a quality haircut, I gave up my coffee habit for a weekly blowout. A big thank you to the grande nonfat vanilla latte drinker, whoever you are.

My regular colorist made a mess of my very long curly hair--and I was embarassed to leave the house. I found the Kenworthy salon online and made an appointment because they're so well-rated for color correction. Deane fixed my color--he did a fantastic job and I was so relieved. Not only can I leave the house, but I'm happy with it. He and his staff were very nice, the salon was pretty, and the rates were incredibly reasonable (considering, of course, that they're two blocks from Rodeo Drive). Highly highly recommended.

Just updating this review. It's been two and a half years since I started going to Deane, and I've never been so happy with my hair. He does an absolutely beautiful red. I'm still growing out what had to be cut off because of the former hairdresser...but if it took that to get here, it may just have been worth it.

Pros: The staff is excellent and also really friendly, I like the ambience here. They seem to make a special effort to fit your appointment in as well.

Cons: Parking--take one of the public lots and walk.
