Speedee Oil Change & Tune Up

I am new to this area. I drove all the way from Spokane, Washington and needed services done to my car right away. This place is right next to my new house, and no appointment needed. I had no time, no resources, and needed my car tuned up asap. This was a bad choice. They overcharged me, performed services that I did not ask them to do, or they could of let me know before they performed the services. I found this site looking for a new local place to get general work done on my car, and ran into all these negative feed back on this place. Now I know.

I got my trasmission oil flush done here, I usually go somewhere else, but it was convienient at the time. Anyhow, I didn't think anything of it, it's simple right? So, I went to get my oil change around 2 months later at oil can henry, and they tell me that I need to do a transmission flush. At first I thought they were trying to rip me off, but, then they showed me the color it should be and the color mine was, so I trusted that I did need one. I told them i got it done about 2 months ago, and they told me that if it isn't clean after the first flush that they are supposed to do it once more without you having to pay double, and what happened was that at Speedee they were either too lazy or cheap to do so. Mind you my car is only a 2003 so, it shouldn't be that bad. anyway PEOPLE BEWARE OF THIS PLACE, don't be a sucker like I was.

My brakes were completely replaced including rotors etc. I payed $105 over Midas (I later found out), and on top of that my brakes now make a squeeling noise, thanks to them not using ceramic. I advise people not to come here, unless you like throwing away money.

Not only did they perform and charge for a service that I didn't ask of them, they stole new men's Ralph Lauren clothing that I just bought that day from Macy's out of my trunk. I went home and one knit sweater and one polo shirt was missing. I went to check my trunk and there was nothing. The next morning I called and spoke to the owner (as he claimed to be), and he didn't listen to the full story, just the part that my items were missing, and decided to brush me off by saying "well, the guy who worked on your car has been here 6 years. so when you find what you are missing I suggest you call back and apologize". I was pretty angry that he'd treat a good customer who has been paying them the unfair prices they charge without complaint for over two years that way. Why would I blame them for something that is not true???? All I can say is, for others is to watch out because they not only overcharge, but they steal from your car as well. I just went there because it was in a shopping plaza where I could get some shopping done while my car was being fixed. I hope this will help protect other people.

We took our car here to get an estimate on some radiator work and they told us about thousands of dollars of work that needed to be done. When we checked this out with another mechanic, we found out that much of what Speedee told us was completely false. Some of it was necessary, but their prices were outrageous and most of what they said they just made up.
