Looks to be a nice place to drink a couple of beers and watch some football, But the girl bartender was undressing me was her eyes and trying to get me drunk......didn't like that beer was cold though....Would i come back?,,,unsure

My husband loves to go there after work. He let me know that they have Reggae Thursdays. IT WAS AWESOME. They have a live band who is really good. We also went back on Sunday night for their Soul Music Sundays and the live band was also very good. For locals looking for a good time I think those two nights are really cool. I definitely give it two thumbs up!!

Characters is a cool place to hang out have a few drinks relax and shoot pool or darts. They have live bands on the weekend and they are usually pretty good bands. The friday bartender kat is the best.

My friends and I went here on a Sunday afternoon to watch the Raiders play against the Chargers...I figured it would be a good game to go to a bar and watch the game. As I entered there were no more than 10 people (all bar patrons) drinking with zero interest in the game. Upon entering I was told I couldn't wear my hat backwards and at halftime when I went to get a pizza (there was no menu there) I was told to leave if i was going to bring outside food in. No happy hour on weekends and sub-par service makes this white-trash bar a no go for anyone who isn't a patron.

Under new ownership. The patio has been refurbished and there is a service bar outside. 6 new plasma TV's with satellite have been installed. There are bands from all genre on the weekends and two bands on Tuesday night. Karaoke and pool tournaments on Sunday. Still has great staff and the new owner (Neil) is a hoot.

P.S. The bar is no longer smokey but smoking is allowed on the patio.

This is a great little smokey dive bar, three pool tables, five dart boards, great bar staff. Live music on the back patio (mostly punk rock) on weekends.

Good prices, good people.
