4 Stars: Olympic Cafe (by Alisa H.)

I lived in San Diego for almost 20 years, and relocated to the East coast about 5 years ago. The Olympic Cafe is, by far, the ONE restaurant I miss the most!! The Souvaki Kabob Platter is outstanding! On a trip back to SD a couple years ago I called the day before I leaving to fly home to phone in a "take out" order to pick before my flight left the next day... 4 lbs of the kabobs and some rice!! With the order tightly wrapped in my carry-on luggage, I headed for home! The aroma on the plane had everyone around me practically drooling! Don't miss this great restaurant!!

4 Stars: Good Food, Inexpensive (by Tammy J.)

The food is great, the service is fast, and the prices can't be beat. I've been for breakfast and lunch and they have delicious food for both. There is never a wait. The interior could probably use a little work, but it still can't be beat for the price you pay.

5 Stars: Great Greek food at great prices (by Megan K.)

This family-owned Greek restaurant in a mini-mall at the busy intersection of University and Texas doesn't look like much from the outside, but don't be dissuaded. The food has been wonderful everytime I've been -- and quite affordable. I've had gyros, fallafel, spanakopita and baklava -- and have never been disappointed. They also serve breakfast at quite reasonable prices -- and there wasn't a long wait.

5 Stars: Good, cheap eats (by Shannon L.)

Olympic Cafe has really good food (especially the fresh pita), and it's inexpensive. They have a take-out menu listed on sandwich boards, but the sit-down menu offers a far bigger selection, including combination platters that are a great value, especially if you have a big appetite. Decor is simple and unpretentious. I would certainly recommend it for anyone who likes Greek food and is on a budget.
