Coyote Point Park has it all. The kids love the harbor to watch the boats. It's a great family park with a little of everything from golfing, restaurant, beach, boating, wind surfing, kite surfing, fishing, hiking, picnic grounds. We use to come here when we were kids. My mom would let us loose (I'm 1 of 11) and we had a ball. It pretty much looks the same except they put in a new playground. It's just a beautiful place to go and escape, walk around, explore, and enjoy good weather or even bike around. The museum is great for the younger kids. Definitely a place to take the family and have a picnic.

Coyote Point is a nice little place. I really enjoy the new animal habitats. The museum itself has lots of things for the kids to look and do. Teh gift shop has some things to purchase.

Coyote Point Museum was remodeled a few? years back and the animals are now housed in a more natural settings instead of the old wood place they use to be. I really liked they new exhibits they have there.

Cayote Point is an old and smaller museum and I do believe that it was built specially for children. Alot of artifacts that children can learn the history of and it is located by the bay north of San Francisco. It is inside the Cayote point Rec. Park which is a fabulous place for families to get together for picnics, fishing, and golf. They have a wonderful restaurant on top of the park and they also have one of the oldest shooting range in northern California.

i took my son to the museum and we had a great time! inside of the museum wasn't too exciting, but it was a gorgeous day and my son loved walking to see all the different animals, butterflies and insects. we even got to see the trainer feed the fox. better yet, we went on the first wednesday of the month and admission was free!

PROS: free first wednesday of the month! great for toddlers!
CONS: inside museum was not very exciting

My church often times has BBQ's at this museum which is how I discovered that they have a museum. It is a wonderful place for little kids to laern about mnay different kinds of aminlas, what they eat, and what they do when they are in danger. There ae many things to look at including racoons, snkaes, and bees. There is always something new to visit. Exhibits often rotate so the children do not get bored. There is an admission fee to get into the park, but its per car, not per person.

Coyote point is fabulous for the toddlers. They have a Fox, Bobcat, Badger, 2 River Otters, Racoon and an Aviary. There is also smaller animals: Newts, Snakes, Frogs, ect. The Aviary side viewing area has a Golden Eagle. Inside the Aviary is a family of quail, and probably 30-45 other birds.

My two Toddlers love the place.
The inside museum has a visiting exhibit that rotates every few months, a bee exhibit of a hive making honey and a huge room of standard exhibits about the local environment and convservation.

One detractor is non-members have to pay $5 access fee to the overall park before the museum entrance.

PROS: Great selection for smaller kids and a quick in and out visit
CONS: A one timer for bigger kids.
