I went into this store looking to repair my mother's necklace. The staff was very kind and helpful and they did a great job and charged me $1.50! Wow! I was so thrilled I decided to shop a bit, and found about a million things I wanted to buy! I picked out some things, and they gave me a discount when they saw my military ID, and the girl said "Thank you for your service". I wish every store I went into treated me like this.
I never thought I would actually enjoy looking at beads, but this place is the nuts. Wooden, glass, marble etc., even ones made of shells. They have everything to even make your own necklaces and bracelets. Counters and bins are stuffed with bright and shiny beads, all shapes and colors. They even have a craft area section for making what you want right there.
I have visited a lot of the local north county shops and I must say that this one has a lot of selection without being a ginormous warehouse. The staff is very accommodating- I must have spent at least an hour there figuring out my project and I never felt rushed or in the way. They let you borrow their tools and give helpful advice if you want to hang out and work on your jewelry. While I was there I also noticed several customers come in with repairs that were done on the spot! I like this place a lot and I will definitely be coming back!
