Nishikawa Auto Svc In

Joe and his team have been taking care of my family's 4 cars for last 4 years. They are the most honest, technical, reliable, and reasonable auto mechanics we had in a very long time. Their diagnosis has always been correct so far and they have given me good recommendations.

I took my car to Nishikawa based on the helpful reviews found here (thanks, everyone!) and I wasn't disappointed. Even though I ended up taking my car to the dealer (the car's computer had to be replaced), Joe explained everything (what he did to find the problem, what the problem is, and the solution) clearly. Especially as a woman, it means a lot to feel comfortable in a car repair shop and I felt quite at ease at Nishikawa. At other shops I've been condescended to, which didn't inspire great confidence in their abilities. I think I've found my car repair shop.

These guys are the real deal: good mechanics, extremely honest, friendly. They explain everything in a way that makes sense to the non-mechanically-inclined. They take on work at a moment's notice and will go out of their way NOT to charge you an arm and a leg. Recommend them to your friends. And patronize them, yourselves. Businesses like these deserve to succeed!

No sticker shock! I made an appointment the same day. The invoice is reasonable and you always understand what you are paying for. Everyone is very friendly and honest. Before I decided to purchase a new car I stopped by to ask their opinion.

My husband and I have been bringing our cars for 13 years to Nishikawa and we keep recommending him to all our friends. Joe and his crew are honest and reliable and the prices are very reasonable. There were times when I'd brought in my car with no idea what the problem could be, but I just knew that it was sounding differently while driving it. Joe drove the car around for days until he found the problem and never charged me for anything else (i.e. his time while test driving it), but the repair and parts at hand. We've never been anything but completely satisfied and happy with this mechanic.

The first time I took my car here, there was some obscure electrical problem. He worked on it for a week, but couldn't find the problem. That may sound bad, but after all the hours he spent, he didn't charge me a thing. That kind of honesty is hard to find.
The second time he did a brake job on my car, and not only did he take my car in with no advance notice on a really busy day, but had it ready just a few hours later, and the fee was less than half what the dealer would have charged.

After my local repair shop lost it's best auto-mechanic, I had to look around. A friend suggested Nishakawa. I've taken both of my cars on numerous occasions and they have done excellent work. It's a small shop, but they've been prompt, curteous, and even saved me money! Nishakawa has on two occasions pointed out repairs that did not require extensive work where I'm sure an auto dealer would have hit me with the "full load" job. I like their honesty and recommend them highly.

PROS: Excellent work, fair, and honest
CONS: Smaller shop, but so far this hasn't been an issue for me.

I have used this shop about 5 times and found friendly, quality, reasonable rate services each time. They have taken me on same day service but like to have a one day notice. I didn't rate world class because it is just a small shop.
