Well i made reservations so i did not wait that long about two min. or so. The rib are good and the B.B.Q. chicken also the sides are well lets see the rice taste crappy trust me its like putting cloves, black peeper, and red chili in your mouth too much spice not good at all. The greens are OK and the fries are good but the mashed potatoes taste like black pepper a little to much. The baked beans taste like they are out of a can. The swamp water is good (lemonade with ice tea). The waiter was nice and she was on top of things.

I have been to this restaurant a few times. The only problem I had with this restaurant was that there was a wait. However, the food was wonderful and worth the wait. I especially love their fried catfish!!

The restaurant is a little hard to find, but it does have ample parking in the back. The service could have better. We waited at the front for a few minutes to be seated, and our waitress seemed she didn't need to stop by and ask how we were doing. It wasn't as if she was busy either, the place wasn't full and I saw her a few times talking on her cell phone. Maybe because we're a younger couple (26 years old), she thought we wouldn't be as picky as others... but we are. The food itself was tasty. I had the chicken and ribs, but was disappointed at the portions. They were kind of big, but for the price I was paying (almost $15 a plate) I would think it would be a little bigger. We tried the famous hush puppies that everyone talks about at this place, and I wasn't impressed. It turned out being a little more than I expected too, and although the food was good... I've had better BBQ at my house.. for a lot cheaper too.

Love this place...the staff is super-friendly even if you just sit there with a cup of coffee although why would you do that? The food is to die for....fried catfish, hush puppies and the Brunswick stew. For breakfast the yankee spuds are the best. Nothing is bad, never a bad experience. Price is right and parking is easy. Go today! Highly recommend.

The peanuts shells on the floor tell you from the moment you walk in that this is a laid back eating establishment. The ribs are superb, the customer service is incredible, and the sides are as individual as they are varied. The desset that comes to mind is the fried apple pie with a huge dollop of vanilla ice cream.
PROS: ambiance
CONS: i forget the restaurant is there sometimes
