music is nearly always special. Thank Matt! The outdoor seating is my favorite. Sturdy wooden benches surrounded by plants in various containers. There was once a wind chime and rejoicing Buddha, but neighborhood voluptuaries carted them

I'm curious, is this the Jumpin Java referred to in the book Tumbleweed Logic? If so, does the author frequent the place? When?

as a student i've become a connoisseur of the coffee shop as study post. this one is perfect. internet access, lots of outlets, quiet, delicious coffee and pastries (yum, bagels - if you get there before they sell out, at least), great music selection, and a crowd as intent as i am on their work. i wouldn't recommend coming here to chat with friends, though - it's not really that kind of place.

I can always count on Jumpin' Java for a consistently excellent cup of joe in the morning. Lots of tables & good music for just hanging out. Now offers free wireless (via AirPort/WiFi/802.11) Internet access. Parking can be difficult, though.

Pros: Excellent coffee, Free AirPort Internet

Cons: Limited parking
