MY wife and I have had CCW training with this school since 2003. Terry Wingert is an absolute professional and his goal to to make sure you learn what you need to know to stay out of trouble with guns, batons, etc.

We absolutely recommend his training. His school is small and his costs are very reasonable.

Why would anyone pay for training from a school that can't afford it's own classroom?

People, the prices are ALL the same, the SAME 40 hours or firearms courses. What make a diff is the schools REPUTATION in the SECURITY FIELD. Where is everyone going and WHY? Google SECURITY TRAINING and read reviews, GO TO the schools and SEE if they will let you watch a class or TALK to a trainer.

I was a student at this school and observed nothing less than professionalism and good conduct by all of the staff. I took several classes throughout a 2 year span beginning in Jan 2005.Joe Williams, Terry Wingert and Pat Alexander were a few of my instructors. All three of these men are men of valor.I highly recommend this school for any type of firearm training or Guard Card Training!Big Time Kudos ASI!

I took three weeks worth of investigator training a few years ago from this place and had them refund me. The owner showed me all sorts of handcuffs and other gadgets but lets say they weren't the type you could use as a private investigator in the field if you didn't want to get sued for sexual harassment.

Often times the classes would be minus an instructor until after lunch. When there was an instructor most of the class time would be spent watching old VHS videos. I was over-charged by about $250.00 dollars on my handgun and had to purchase a lot of books that were not used in the weeks that I attended.

I don't know about his proficiency with pepper spray and he doesn't seem to understand citizen rights when it comes to phsycial contact and arrest. The owner does however seem to be really good at martial arts, which makes him just that much more dangerous for the women.

I haven't found any school in the Sacramento or Greater Bay Area Region that was serious about training Private Investigators. It just seems to be about the money they can get from you. I recommend getting a good book on how to be a Private Investigator, especially if you're female.

I never took a class from this institute but I did do some work for the owner. He is a flirt with the women. He doesn't shoot straight if you ask me. So you might have to protect your self from him women.

But, he does know his stuff on how to use pepper spray, you might have to practice on him, though.

PROS: Smart on protect
CONS: You just might have to use on the instructors
