Wow, I'm a customer there too & my experiences have always been extremely positive! The alternative is A LOT worse (Home Depot... ever tried to get help THERE???) I have bought several cans of paint from Paul at the East Richmond Paint Center & he is awesome & very helpful! He always spends a lot of time helping me or my boyfriend, especially when it comes to matching colors or creating the perfect color for us. It's unfortunate that your daughter didn't give him the measurements of the wall she was painting, minus the doors!!! If you had a bad experience there, you'd better give Home Depot a try. You'll see once you're there... you won't get waited on... you won't get the same personalized service. You certainly will not be offered suggestions with what to do with your extra paint. If I were you, I would simply donate whatever paint you cannot use. Or, you could put it on craigslist or freecycle & give it to someone who'll use it (& then you won't have to dispose of the extra paint on your own.)

Good luck.
I'm out the door in a minute to go buy some paint from Paul now... I googled the business for the phone number & found your awful review.
I'm going back to Paul because I won't be hit on in the parking lot (like at Home Depot) & I won't have to take a number & wait in line for an hour. To each her own:) As for him not sticking to regular business hours: HELLO! It's a small-ass business that's run by ONE person... which means that you might wanna CALL FIRST before going, like I just did.
It isn't rocket science!

I just came back from waiting 20minutes for the store to open, the sign says 9:00am. This is after finding the store closed early on Saturday when I got there. The sign says 5:00pm. The owner sold my daughter a gallon of paint for one wall 8'x10' with 2 doors in it, needless to say I have loads of paint left and the owner was not interested in helping me use this paint a different way. He wanted to sell me even more paint when I already have nearly a gallon left from the last purchase. I do not recommend this business. One of my neighbors has a suite filed against them and after this morning I can see why they would think that might be a good idea. My tip, go somewhere else!
