CASCC was recommended by a colleague when I was three months pregant. Didn't even know there was a childcare center on the VA campus. My son has been attending since he was three months old. He's now seventeen months old. Can not say enough good things about our school. Our Director, Kate, is extremely knowledgable and experienced in early childhood development. All the teachers are accredited, loving, supportive and really enjoy their work. We recently received a Multicultural Grant that allow us to explore and learn about other cultures. To list a few cirriculum: music class, art class, hiking/nature trails for the older kids. Thumbs up all the way!!!

My daughter has been at this school for a year. She started when she was 2, and she loves it! She gets a variety of activities every day, there is always something new for her to explore, and she's allowed to grow at her own pace. It's been a great experience for her!

We have enjoyed the three years my daughter has spent at this school (she started at 6 months in the infant program). She has learned so much and has so much fun, it is usually a struggle to get her to leave at the end of the day.
There is a new director who has worked very hard to make the school more child centered and play based. Some of the previous teachers didn't like the new style and have left, but the kids are thriving.
Nothing beats the location --- miles of forest trails, fresh air, trees, it's lovely!

This is a very cute, but small preschool program for up to 28 children. It is on campus at the Veterans Administration (VA) Hospital at Fort Miley, on 42nd Ave. and Clement. The school is open all year 'round, with some National holidays and a week off in December. A new director was hired a few months ago and she is making very positive changes to the program. My daughter has been going to the school for almost a year, and she loves it, and we are very happy with the school. There is a lot of communication, and I feel confident that my daughter is in good hands.

Cheryl Andersen Sorensen Childcare Center caregiver devotes a large part of her home to the children, and encourages song, dance and outside play. She also provides many toys, books, art, breakfast, lunch...and much love. The children love Cheryl Andersen Sorensen Childcare Center, which is very much like home to them. She has part-time positions available now.
