It was great living at the Marina Palms in Seal Beach with the old manager. We have been living here for 4.5 years. When the new managers took over almost a year ago they now have raised rent twice (the maximum amount by law). They have

Berro Management also manages condos. They seem to be very knowledgeable in this field and have bookkeepers and representatives specifically dedicated to that field of property management. Plus they have a 24 hour answering service for emergencies. Their response time seems to be very good

I got my apt. through Preferred Property, Manager Lucy (great person). Berro happened to take over the Apts. the past couple of years. Results is disappointing, they got an unproffessional unsite manager (kind of wonder how they picked this person). Us tenant here can name a bundle of unqualified quolities in this manager they've chosen. And it seems like Berro is not interested in hearing anything from the tenants, but only from the chosen manager. Now you can see where us as tenant stands. So far she's done nothing but aggravate and play games. If we want to keep our place and keep the peace, we have to keep quiet and keep underprofile. The only thing Berro suggested is ' If you don't like the manager or can't get along with her, than you're not obligate to stay with Berro.' Don't know what else to say but Berro's does not hear or take interest in hearing their tenants. Other Tenants as Witness.

I've lived in LB all my life, and have rented from several different management companies. Berro Management is by far the best. The manager who lives at my building keeps everything clean and is always available if I need her. I will say that a few years ago, they did have a receptionist that was not too friendly, but I don't think she works there anymore. The last few times that I called the office, there was a very helpful lady. Anyway, I am very happy with Berro. If I move again, I will go through them.

I've lived in LB all my life, and have rented from several different management companies. Berro Management is by far the best. The manager who lives at my building keeps everything clean and is always available if I need her. I will say that a few years ago, they did have a receptionist that was not too friendly, but I don't think she works there anymore. The last few times that I called the office, there was a very helpful lady. Anyway, I am very happy with Berro. If I move again, I will go through them.

My experience with Berro was absolutely horrific. My complaint begins with the on-site manager, a person who does not speak English. I assure you that I have no problem with non-English speaking citizens, however, it is near to impossible to communicate problems with such a prohibiting impediment to communication. The times I have called Berro to inform my representative of my needs, she was not to be found and never in her office. The next logical course of action was to leave a message on her voicemail system and repeating the process until I realized that I had left several different messages and had yet to receive a return call. When I did finally get my representative on the phone she had major attitude like I was bothering her. When I at last resorted to interrogating the secretary, she was never able give me any answers to my questions. \r\nI have lived in the same apartment for several years, and not once did I ever see my Berro representative. Additionally, there is no upkeep to the building. For example, gangs have come by and defaced the walls of our complex. We, as a community, called Berro, and the only thing to come of it was the suggestion that we talk to the non-English speaking on-site manager. The graffiti sat there for two weeks until one of the tenants brought paint home from work and painted the wall himself. The list goes on and on, however, I will end with this: stay very far away from Berro.\r\n

I've never had such a malappropriate landlord in all my years of renting. My next door neighbor feels the same. Our Berro rep is rude, drops by unannounced, and will threaten to evict you for anything and everything. What a psycho! Run as far away from this company as you can!!!

The receptionist at the main office is really rude. While I was waiting to get and return keys she was on the phone with tenants and rolling her eyes at everything they were saying. She had an attitude about everything with everybody. I even tried joking with her and she wasn't having it. My short experience with this company turned me off of renting from them. I have talked to some of the tenants and they agreed with me. I will not rent for these people.

The things that they promised would be fixed before we moved in have not yet been fixed (we are here close to three months), the place looks like a dump and the rep assigned to us keeps on making false promises. I am hoping that these reviews will help keep someone from going thru what I am going thru with Berro.

The manager that I dealt with was rude and disrespectful. The turn around rate for tenants is horrible. The average tenant stays for 2 months. She would pound on your door all hours of the night, did not inspect the smoke detectors when promised, and the lights outside the door were always off, she even did not want the tenants to recycle. The staff at berro management are of no help. They are also rude and unprofessional. I would not recommend using this property management.

I can't relate more than to the previous reviewer...... the Receptionist at Berro Management is really unprofessional they don't keep things together and she is really rude. You can never get to a supervisor either becuase they are out of the office or on vacation. Really Really poor service from the receptionist. I don't recommend doing any kind of business with them at all.....

You can never get to a supervisor either becuase they are out of the office or on vacation. Really Really poor service from the receptionist. I've been at the Sebreeze apartments on 1008 E 3rd run by Berro Management and it has been a great experience. First, when I moved in I can honestly say I've never moved into a cleaner apartment. The onsite manager, Sara, was very professional, helpful and courteous. When I needed to have her open the locked panel for the power guy she did it so fast I didn't even see her come out - bam, the power was on. Whenever I needed anything she was there and also provided me with rent receipts in my mailbox on time, every time. Very highly recommended!

After 7 months of tennancy the apartment still had the initial damages and rodents that were all reported upon the move in. The receptionist consistently loses rent payments and has an extremely poor attitude. The supervisors offer no assistance, as they are as bad as the rest of the staff. I would warn all property owners and renters who are considering doing business with Berro Management to turn and run, far far away.
