I saw many people come and go. It worked well for some and not so much for others. I personally spent a lot of time in different foster homes, group homes, etc... And I have seen some REALLY bad ones. Pioneer has many hurtles to over come. While I was there, I was the most comfortable I had been in most homes. They were lacking in some area's such as teaching good study habits, but truly over all they do quite well. This is a place that has to take criminal and delinquent children, give them hope, and contain them in what feels like a home. Not just one, or 2 but SIX! I am now a 40 year old Successful business man. And I do not know if I would be where I am if it were not for Greg and his homes. Thank you pioneer. (To the other review that said they are depressing, you clearly have not seen the OTHER options. The ones where they are so bad they have to issue you lockers with locks to keep your belongings from being stolen.)

I am a Client at Pioneer Boys Ranch, and what I think about Pioneer Boys Ranch is that I would not put any of my children in there, because it is depressing, and it is not a great place to live.
