Golden Stars Driving School

This is one of the classes guaranteed to rip you off quality-wise and helpful-wise. I was VERY unfortunate to be taught by an instructor who had little respect for his students. I'm not sure if there was only one person in charge of the whole business, other than a group of "teachers." I've been trying to get a hold of a "different teacher" yet directs me to the same instructor I had a displeasurable time with. IF you take this course, you will expect a few things.

1) The instructor enjoys demoralizing your driving habits he disagrees with.
2) The instructor structures his driving lectures through derogatory language. Is this professional? Or is this a method to humiliate and anger students just to learn how to turn the damn wheel? How about using your middle fingers to turn?
3) The instructor racial profiles certain drivers on the road. This is unethical and a violation of proper business.
4) The instructor is NOT patient; in fact, he is more likely to agitate your nervousness further. This is a waste of time. He doesn't care about you, only your money!
5) You will regret taking this course after Day 1. Scheduling appoointments for Day 2-3 will be the last things in your mind.

My experience was an absolute negative (99.99% in terms of negativity, not positivity). I generally have high self-esteem, but an instructor who pushes to the limits because of low pay really wrecked it. My friend who also took this training compared it to the CEOs of Enron. It's that horrible. I warn to all other readers: I strongly do not recommend using this school despite its 'reasonable rates.' Insults and Driving have no place in common for such a despicable class.

Last year I took driving lessons with Goldent Stars Driving School in order to obtain my license. I am pleased to say that I enjoyed their teaching and thought it to be worth the money. If you're looking for lessons for your son or daughter I would highly recommend them because of their flexible schedules and charismatic teachers. However, the only downside is if you're not looking to spend too much money, then you may want to choose someone a little less expensive. Good luck.

PROS: flexible hours.
CONS: pricey.
