decent place for some food, reminds me of the decor of china town restaurants. i like the porridge and its nice to be able to shop afterwards in the grocery store.

their preserved egg with pork porridge wasn't what i was expecting, but some of their other food is good. i dont know what it was that my friends ordered but i tried some of it and itw as good. i would recommend going here, but maybe not ordering the preserved egg with pork porridge.

good business  4 Star Rating - Very good

By Jack Y. | insider_expert Insider Expert | Rank: 8,670

This is perhaps my favorite Chinese restaurant in all of San Diego. I like this restaurant for three reasons. One, the people that work here are very honest and nice. The reason I say this is because one time I left a wallet full of credit carts and more than 200 dollars of cash and they held onto my wallet and gave me back everything in it. The second reason I like them is because the food is very quick and yummy. The third reason I like this is because the food is very inexpensive. One of my favorite dishes is the stinky tofu. Don't bag it till you tried it.

Taiwanese Food!  4 Star Rating - Very good

By Ting W. | insider Insider | Rank: 13,673

Finally--a place to eat Taiwanese food in San Diego! Contrary to what lots of people think, all Chinese food is not alike, and Taiwanese food is definetly a specialty. This is the only place I've found in our city, which serves Taiwanese dishes. They carry things like stinky tofu (a must) and have the best beef noodle soup I've ever tried. Prices are cheap ($6 for a big bowl of noodles). They also do a typical Taiwanese breakfast, complete with soybean milk, onion rolls, and fried dough. Good eating.

PROS: Taiwanese food at its best in San Diego
