The breakfast food is really great. The pancakes are hot and homemade and they sale turkey sausage for those who don't pork. The service is not always the tip top but the food more than makes up for it. The business is family owned by siblings and the brother is a little more friendly than his sister. Try to come early because it's a small place and the locals pack it out everyday. It has street parking that is hard to find.

Pros: food is always good and consistent

Cons: parking is not the best and there is always a bit of a wait

The Bake n Broil draws a good crowd for good reason. They offer hearty homecooked comfort food in a friendly atmosphere. Their pot roast is second only to my mom's, and their baked goods are outstanding, especially their pies. Service is friendly and prompt and it is a comfortable place to take the whole family, even small children.

The locals go here often so it may be crowded at dinner and lunch, but it well worth it. The food is fresh and has the real home cooking flavor. The menu offers a variety of selections so it pleases everyone. Save room for dessert. They're fabulous.

My husband and I go to BNB for breakfast almost every weekend and we L-O-V-E IT! Definitely big fans of the banana walnut pancakes (with fresh whipped cream)! It's the bomb!!!! Try and go early (before 10a) to beat the large crowds that come in after 10. The service is a bit slow but you won't be disappointed with your food.

yum! lemon-blueberry pancaes with the raspberry sauce. OMG what a treat! the pancakes here are awesome. The hash browns are real potatoes and they aren't greasy, those are yummy too. I LOVE their desserts and they have a wide selection of specials daily. Ask for something, and I bet they'll make it just for you! They brought my one year old niece a "toddler appetizer" it was bananas and cheerios! we didnt ask for it, but that just shows how pleasant they are here, they treat the customer well.

A small restaurant, on a quiet street corner, is one which is family owned and run. It offers great food at value. It is frequented by lots of regulars who have been coming here for years (always a good sign!). They also have a selection of pies and cakes that are superb. Breakfast, lunch or dinner!

Pros: Great Food, Fresh Produce, Reasonable Prices

Cons: Crowded - Sunday AM

Although at peak times the wait can last forever...it is well worth it. Everything on the menu tastes so fresh and homemade. All their desserts are wonderful. Kid friendly (if they can wait) and pricing is reasonable. Parking can be a bit difficult during busy times but a small hike is worth the taste. Try it...you will not be disappointed.

Go into this "neighborhood" restaurant and you will see the same faces again and again. Sit at the counter and have a great political or other discussion with your neighbor to go with your food. The cakes and pies are all home made and hard to pass up ! My favorites are the coconut-pineapple cake, red velvet cake and carrot cake. The burger special can't be beat and the fish and chips are to die for !

PROS: Great home style food and local ambience
CONS: Occasional slow service and inconsistency

Quaint family-owned cafe-like place. Classic Americana comfort food like handmade burgers, spaghetti, soups and pie. YUM!

For years this has been our favorite Burger & Pie of Cake place. Cute decoration and family owned attention to all aspects is evident.
