Mani's Bakery

Has a nice patio the food is very healthy. The service is good, but it is always crowded. It is a place where you can go when you are not in a rush and youre willing to wait for a good strong cup of coffee and a delicious healthy meal. Inside you will also find some interesting shops that you can browse while you wait for your order.

Mani's Bakery to me is always inexplicably crowded (after going there). The bakery items I find to be somewhat tasteless and dry. However it's a good place to grab a healthy lunch on Main Street on a nice day.

PROS: Nice patio
CONS: Bakery items not that great

Mani's used to be much bigger at this Main Street location which it now shares with several other businesses. There are still lots of baked goods..notably the "Faux Nuts" (non-fried, natural donuts" and many yummy cakes and cookies made with hypo-allergenic flours and no refined sugar. Really delicious for "healthy" style baked goods. My sense is that the ownership must have changed a while back. Still a great resource though. The four stars instead of five is for the harrowing wedding experience we had with Mani eleven years ago... he made our wedding cake and FORGOT to deliver it...a total disaster. They had to slap one together at the Hollywood location and set it up at the last minute...EXPENSIVE NIGHTMARE!

PROS: Great healthy treats
CONS: DON'T use them as a bakery for any event of significance!!!
