Here at Angelino Restaurant we specialize in bringing the taste of Southern Italy to Sausalito. When you dine at Angelino Restaurant you experience the flavors of authentic Italian fare. We try to capture the beauty of Italy in every bite. Our cuisine ranges from the classic Pizza Margherita to the exotic Insalata Polpi con Patate (Octopus Salad) for starters. If you want something a little heartier, try the Fettuccine Bolognese (Fettuccine in a Meat Sauce) or the Pollo alla Diavola (Spicy Chicken). End with dessert exquisite enough, one could write a book about it alone. The wine list is an extensive array of both Italian and Californian wines ranging from light bodied whites to full rich reds. Be sure to partake of the full bar at your disposal, either with a cocktail to start off your meal or an after dinner drink to finish off a wonderful evening.

Amazing!

by Amanda M. | insider_expert Insider Expert | Rank: 7,837

We were on vacation in San Francisco and went to Angelino's for some good Italian food. To start the hostess was wonderful. Even though we were late she was so nice and offered us our choice of tables. The food was great. Starters, salads, entrees, desserts, all of it was spectacular. The wine list was good, we had a clear-as-water and interesting prosecco. I loved it. The big problem was the service. Our waiter was very impressed with himself and did a lot of standing around with the other male servers. The experience was well worth it despite that though. I'll go again.

That's Amore!

by kreggiemg

Loved it, it's the next best thing to being in Italy and not having to travel. The food is always fabulous, friendly service, wonderful wine, and a beautiful walk right outside along the bay. Very kid friendly too. We like to eat early after a walk along the bay. Just wish the chairs were a little more comfortable. The booths are the best...and the window seats in front have a great view, but don't seat enough for my family.

Pros: Friendly, authentic, casual yet sophisticated

Cons: Would like to see cozier chairs.

Amazing place

by lovefood419

I was taken here on my trip to the bay area by my sister and it was the best italian I've ever had. The prices were a bit high but it was worth it because the food was delicious, it was right by the water, and the service was excellent and not too overbearing. Even the balsamic vinegar accompanied by the bread was great. We shared the wide pasta with braised beef and the spaghetti and both were perfectly tasteful. I will return on my next trip to the bay area.

Pros: food, service, waterfront

Cons: pricey

outstanding italian food!

by istranger

As a native Italian I have been on the lookout for GREAT Italian food since coming to this country over 20 years ago. I can say that Angelinos in sausalito truly is a "slice of home" - their Italian food is truly authentic, the service impeccable and the family-like ambiance just like you would find in a restaurant in Italy. If you want great Italian food you don't need to book a flight to Rome, just go to sausalito!
