i have worked in this area for so long and never made it over to this place until recently. i have been missing out! the waiter was incredibly helpful and super friendly. we sat on the patio and it was beautiful. its great in for dinner in the summer when its not too hot. we didn't know what kind of beer to try so our waiter brought out a sampler so we could choose our favorite. the garlic fries are fantastic! prices are reasonable. definitely going to go back!

The patio seating here is great, it looks over One Colorado Square in Old Town Pasadena and is a great place to sit on a summer evening.

The food itself is pretty standard bar food, but some of the beers on tap are good.

Many of my friends think that this place is just overpriced but I have always liked it. It's not cheap but the food has always been good and the atmosphere is nice too. I like sitting out on the patio in the summer. The brew some of their own beers and they are always really good. The waiters are usually really good and very nice and I have rarely had to wait very long to be seated.

Gordon Biersch is a great burger and beer joint. It brews it's own beer, right in the restaurant and offers seasonal favorites. The food is hearty, lots of beef, burgers, sandwiches, and salads. On Friday and Saturday nights the bar usually gets pretty crowed, but it is a lot of fun.

Stick with the amber ale, avoid the overpriced appetizers -- unless someone else is footing the bill. Our company sometimes visits for happy hour. Great patio on a nice summer evening.

Fun place for lunch, dinner, or just a drink. Best place in the restaurant to hang out and eat is the bar. Great beer. Somewhat pricey, except during Happy Hour.

PROS: Location, good beer
CONS: Staff is usually in a hurry. Sometimes long wait.
